Updated Again: Despite the date listed below, EBGames.com is accepting pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker right now, but has pulled all mention of the bonus disc at Nintendo's request. It is still likely that you will get the bonus disc if you pre-order, but you should check ahead.

Of course, if you order online, it is more likely that you will not receive your bonus disc until The Wind Waker ships in March. Bonus Discs will be available at traditional retailers on February 16th, so if you want the disc as soon as it's available, you'll want to pre-order on that date.

On a side note, they are also referring to "Ura Zelda" as "Ocarina of Time: Master Quest". Could this be the US name of Ura? It's pretty likely!

Last week in Japan, Nintendo released bonus discs to people who pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto that contained updated versions of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Ura Zelda. We mentioned that the discs would in fact be released here in North America, but we didn’t know when.

Today Planet GameCube learned that this pre-order promotion will begin in North America on February 16th. Just like in Japan, the bonus disc will contain both Ocarina of Time and Ura Zelda, as well as some different game trailers. How many, and which trailers is still unknown, but we’re assuming they’ll be changed for the US due to the fact that some of the games previewed on the Japan disc have already been released.

More when it breaks!

Thanks for the EBGames.com tip, MGarcia!
