First GBA Video Run Ships to Stores

Now that the first batch is out, maybe Majesco will decrease the frequency of these announcements.

Majesco Ships First 'Game Boy Advance Video' Titles; Retail Sell-in Expected to Exceed Two Million Units

EDISON, N.J., May 5, 2004-- Initiating one of the most anticipated product launches of the year, Majesco (MJSH), a leading publisher of interactive entertainment products, today announced that it began shipping its first Game Boy(R) Advance Video products to retailers across North America in late April, with full distribution expected later this month. Backed by enthusiastic retail support, sell-in of the new video products is expected to surpass two million units. "From our content partners to the retail channel, our Game Boy Advance Video technology and the resulting product line has been universally well-received," said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco. "We are enormously pleased with our initial success and look forward to providing the 21 million Game Boy Advance users throughout North America with additional products and accessories.

Headlining the initial roll-out are the first two volumes of SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents, as well as Dora the Explorer Vol 1. These first five titles are the vanguard of a 12 title rollout that will include:

Strawberry Shortcake Vol 1;

All Grown Up! Vol 1;

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius Vol 1;

Nicktoons Collection Vol 1 (includes All Grown Up!, The Fairly OddParents and SpongeBob SquarePants);

Cartoon Network Collection Vol 1 (includes Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Johnny Bravo);

Codename: Kids Next Door Vol 1;

Sonic X Vol 1.

Game Boy Advance Video products carry a suggested retail price of $19.99. Other products scheduled for this year include Sonic X Vol 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol 1 and Yu Gi Oh! Vol 1. About Majesco's Game Boy Advance Video Technology Majesco's new video compression technology presently allows viewing of approximately 45 minutes of quality color video with the capability to view 90 minutes of color video under development. The technology fits in a standard Nintendo-manufactured, Game Boy Advance cartridge and incorporates standard 'DVD-style' player controls. The technology features color video across 100 percent of the screen.
