The free-to-start "social adventure" game arrives in June.

Originally debuting on the Apple AppStore before also coming to Google Play, Sky: Children of the Light is coming to Switch this June. Developed by thatgamecompany, whose previous works include Journey, Flower, and Flow, their latest title will bring cross-play between mobile and console, with more details coming ahead of launch.

A full slate of upcoming Switch titles were revealed in today's first Indie World showcase. Aside from the games that are out today, companies big and small showed games headed to Switch over the next year.

Try not to spoil the surprises for yourself.

As is tradition, today's Indie World show announced a group of games that will be available later today.

The most famous of the three is FEZ, originally released in April 2012 on Xbox 360 and coming later today to Switch. The perspective-flipping puzzle platformer was known for its many mysteries that in some cases took several years to solve.

Also a quick update on Picross S: Mega Drive & Mark III Edition.

Picross S6 is coming to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 22. The new release features 485 puzzles across different modes, including standard Picross, Mega Picross, and Color Picross. If you have play data from Picross S, S2, or S3, you can also unlock large extra puzzles.

The collection got 66% bigger.

The Blizzard Arcade Collection has added new games for free along with some new items for the existing games.

Added as brand new games are The Lost Vikings 2 (1997), aka "Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest" and a sequel to the original puzzle platformer that offers new abilities and two new characters, and RPM Racing (1991) which was claimed to be the first US-developed game for the Super NES.

The annual new look for the Switch Lite is coming the same day as Miitopia for North America.

Nintendo of America have revealed a new darker blue Switch Lite for release on May 21. It will be priced the same as a standard Switch Lite ($199.99 US/$269.99 Canadian).

Europe will actually get the system two weeks earlier on May 7.

I think we're forgetting just how many hours of NIS America games are hitting this month.

Meet the Wicked Twisters

Square Enix announced today that NEO: The World Ends With You, the sequel to the beloved Nintendo DS cult classic, will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 27th 2021. The game will also see a release on PC via the Epic Games Store. Accompanying this news a new trailer was shown that provides a look at the title's extensive voice cast and some new gameplay.

And some paid DLC to go along with it.

More content is coming to Streets of Rage 4 later this year.

A major update is planned that will include a training mode, a new ultra-hard "Mania+" difficulty, and new color palettes for the playable characters plus support for the "Mr. X Nightmare" DLC. This DLC will include a Survival mode and three new playable characters.

Nintendo have announced Pac-Man 99 will be available for play by Nintendo Switch Online members beginning on April 7 (tomorrow) at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. The app is available to download now.

E3 is returning after a year's absence with a new format, and Nintendo is one of the backers.

First reported by GamesIndustry.biz, the retooled E3 will be a digital only event running from June 12-15, 2021 (Saturday to Tuesday). Nintendo has been announced as attending along with Microsoft, Capcom, Konami, Take Two Interactive, Ubisoft, WB Games, and Koch Media.

A shockingly popular Japanese series is about to make its western Switch debut.

Earth Defence Force: World Brothers, which launched in Japan at the tail end of last year, will come out in North America on May 27 via D3 Publisher. The localized version will feature an English dub and subtitles.

So one week after the US, but a few days before your humble News Editor's would be due.

There's no fooling the tax man, as Turnip Boy will find out in a few weeks.

Graffiti Games have announced their action adventure title Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion will come to Switch on April 22 for US$14.99 or regional equivalent. After racking up a somewhat large debt though means of questionable legality, the Turnip Boy must navigate a wild world in order to solve his debt issues.
