Super Mario Run Available for Pre-Register on Android

Mario's newest adventure is coming to Android in 2017.

Super Mario Run is now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store. Pre-registered users will receive a notification when the game is available on Android.

Super Mario Run was first released for iOS devices on December 15th and quickly reached 40 million downloads. The game was first announced at Apple's Special Event in September as an iOS timed exclusive and was later confirmed for a 2017 release on Android.

After Super Mario Run’s success, Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima discussed plans for at least two more mobile games each year. Super Mario Run on Android has not received a more concrete date than 2017. The game charges $10 for the full experience after three levels on iOS, but Android pricing hasn’t been revealed.

Thank you NWR!!! I just registered for the notice. I'm not one to play many games on my phone, but maybe this will be the beginning of a new age for me which, depending on the price of the Switch and how much longer they support 3DS, may become necessary.

I have a cheap android phone that I use for Miitomo (I normally use Windows 10 Mobile), for some reason the play store says mario run is not compatible.

And THANK GOD Nintendo's announced this. I was afraid I'd have to switch to the iOS ecosystem after all my comfortable years on Android. If there'd been no news by March I was going to pull the trigger and really go iOS.
