Wii action RPG will see release in the land down under.

Xenoblade Chronicles is confirmed for Australian release by Nintendo Australia.

Previously rumored for release and rated by the Australian Classification Board, Xenoblade Chronicles is now slated for Australia. No release date has been given. The Monolith-developed action Wii RPG is the first of three RPG titles clamored for by Operation Rainfall, who seek their release by Nintendo of America.

The Australian release means the game will see official release across all traditional release regions except for the Americas. Check back with us for impressions from the Australian version of the game.

At this point I believe the US will see this game eventually. I mean come on, Australia?

But no additional work is needed to bring it to Australia. They just simply have to send copies.

Well, besides having pay the OFLC to rate it. Other than that though, the actual game is the exact same as the European copy and requires no extra work.

Myeh, I preordered my import copy from the U.K. about a month ago. I was predicting a lack of information when it comes to release plans here in Australia, and wellwhaddayaknow, there's no confirmed release date. It's fantastic that we're getting it at all, I know, but nine times out of ten, Australia gets software right at the bottom of the chain. Now that my eyes have been opened up to the world of importing, I'm naturally going to take that route. How come my brother, Europe, gets his lollipop now yet I have to wait 'til later for mine, all the while watching as he enjoys his...licking it slowly whilst staring deeply into my eyes teasingly. If I murder Europe when I grow up, you'll know why.

Can't beat that 30 quid/$50USD price from Zavvi for the bundleless copy.

And the game is confirmed for another region not called North America. Ain't that a kick in the head.  :P:

But it also has a word that starts with A in its name.  That's closer.

They wanted a release in THE US, not AUS....

Someone should buy the game and spread Vegemite on it while singing A Land Down Under

It takes a real grammar nerd to pun on the articles.  Well done, sir or madam.
