Recovering from their Odyssey overdose, the boys bring a fresh slate of games to talk about this week, kicking it off the timeless Chess Ultra. Casey’s been brushing up on his Chess skills (or lack thereof) in this excellent offering. In addition to that, he’s been flapping and slashing his way through the endless runner known as Knight Terrors. Perry on the other hand has been playing a game he’s dabbled with once or twice and that’s Elliot Quest. We save our deep thoughts for the upcoming I Demand You segment which Perry has so kindly tasked Casey with finally taking the plunge to see who Elliot is and what quest he’s on. Wrapping up What We’ve Been Playing... well we mentioned an Odyssey overdose, but we’re still feinding! So naturally we touch more on this amazing game.

Over here at the Talk Nintendo Podcast we can’t even fathom all these games coming to Switch and this week adds another load of quality offerings. With another 15 games dropping on the digital store shelves this week there are sure to be at least one title to catch your eye whether that’s Monopoly, Uno, Farming Simulator, or Sanic Farces … eHaw! We move on over to the News block and we’ve got some sad news, but a bunch of good news to boot. First we mourn the loss of the Miiverse, but welcome the big sales numbers associated with the Switch and its software. We also touch on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct!

Compatible alert! Yes, the return of our Compatible segment is upon us, but let me ask, what’s better than one? That’s right, two! So we double dip with a double feature this week. We talk about the beautiful ASCII Gamecube Keyboard Controller and the quirky SNES Mouse. Both have interesting histories and work with way more games than you could have ever imagined (well at least one of them did.) Regardless, join us on this fascinating look back at some of the more interesting Nintendo controller offshoots.
