Phenomenal podcast guys.  Thanks again.  Only got the 3rd game, since it's the only one I've actually played.  Very nice to hear some songs for games I have not played.  The discussion always makes me want to get them.

Radio Trivia Podcast is always a fun listen, but can feel hit-or-miss depending on how many of the games I've actually played before.  This was a great episode though, as I have experience with 3/5 games -- in fact, playing through game #4 right now and completely enjoying myself.

Thank you virtual console!  I got 2 and 4 because I played through both over this summer on VC.  I found game #2 very frustrating though.  While pretty to look at and the music is really nice, I found the physics of the character control to be really annoying.  On the other hand, #4 was a wonderful game throughout with really nice music for a Genesis game.

Also, Shantae (as a character) is not at all sexist. She's not bad--she's just drawn that way!

Seriously, though, hearing Guillaume make the comparison between...the game he compared it to...and Shantae really makes me want to try...the game he compared it to.
