Hal, do you have more than 1 DS? If so, you could actually take care of some yourself. Otherwise, I could get you Probopass, Magnezone (would you want me to send you one or would you want to trade a Magneton and have it evolve to Magnezone and be traded back?), and Pachirisu. I am not up to Route 217 in Platinum yet (which is the only place to get Eevee to evolve to Glaceon), I just got to Hearthome City. With Probopass you could just breed it to get the Nosepass.

I won't be able to get them all tonight since it is almost midnight for me and I am getting up early tomorrow, but tomorrow night I might have them.

I wish I had Platinum last year, when Nintendo gave away all those promo legendaries. Speaking of which, I will probably get Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf/Dialga/Palkia/Heatran/Giratina/Cresselia in my Platinum game and be able to trade those over.

I don't have more than 1 DS. I used to have my friends', but he took it back after a few weeks. I could give you my Magneton if you'd be willing to evolve it for me. If you traded me a Probopass, I could breed it for the Nosepass and then give it back. And I will need a Pachirisu.

So, we could do it this way:

You give me Probopass, and I give you Magneton. You go off and evolve him, and I run off and breed the Probopass. We trade both back. You give me Pachirisu and I give you an Eevee. You evolve the Eevee into Glaceon. You trade me the Glaceon, and I give you one of the Pokemon on your list (like Torchic). Then, as extra thanks, I can give you a bunch of Pokemon you need in exchange for whatever crappy Pokemon you have just lying around.

Tomorrow should be great. One quick thing, though: I'm leaving my house for a BBQ at 4 p.m., then going to a movie at like 7:15, so I might not be home until later. An earlier-in-the-day trade would be best, I'm betting, unless you plan on staying up late. Whatever works for you, seriously. I'm the one begging for Pokemon! :-D

So, has Celebi ever been legitimately obtainable in the states?  I still don't have that freaking legendary.

Hal, all except Glaceon will be fine (I am nowhere near that far in my Platinum game yet), maybe by the weekend I will be that far. I can do the Glaceon later this week. I should be up tonight.

Pale, I just checked Bulbapedia. Nintendo Power had a contest for the Gen II games (251 Celebi given away), but I don't count that, especially since there is no way to get that one to the Gen III or IV games. Other than that, the only time Celebi was given out in the US was as part of Nintendo's 10th Anniversary Tour across America and Europe in 2006 (which never came anywhere near where I lived), you could get Celebi added to any of the Gen III games. Some of the other legedaries given out on this tour were Latios, Latias, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.

The only way I even got one in my Diamond game (which is long gone) was because the person who gave it to me had one in his Emerald game and used the cloning trick to get one for anybody who wanted it or any of the other Gen III legendaries.

I hope we get the event Celebi over Wi-Fi soon. Not only does it let you do a side-battle against Giovanni (which does give you more story info), but you will need to trade it over to Black/White to get Zorua and Zoroark (and the current info states that this will be the ONLY way to get those two Pokemon)

Sorry. Didn't realize you were right there. You can keep the Eevee as long as it takes to evolve it. Thanks for the trades! I bred a Nosepass, so I'll give him back tomorrow for the Magnezone!
 
Okay, I got a Seviper through the GTS last night (all it took was a baby Spinda!), so I can give you him for the 'Dex entry, Spyke. I'll try to get a Torkoal through the GTS, too.

Stratos, have you thought about using the Emerald cloning glitch to clone your legendaries or other Pokemon/items?

And yeah, it does suck that you can't look for Pokemon on the GTS if you haven't seen them.
