I've actually got three trades to make: Scyther holding a Metal Coat, Clamperl holding a Deepseatooth, and another Clamperal holding a Deepseascale. Tryin' to fill the 'Dex as best I can, y'see.

My recommendation for anyone who wants to trade with me (TRADE WITH ME!) should get a bunch of Pokemon together that evolve through trading. Then we'll trade, then trade back.

I just bought a DSi (the Mario & Luigi bundle) and a copy of SoulSilver. I hope to soon get to the spot where I can start trading. It will be hard to get some of the rarer legendaries (like Arceus) though.

I beat Morty and caught the Red Gyarados. I might be hitting a peak in my interest. It feels like I'm moving so slowly.

Beat the Elite 4 and Lt. Surge today. I had been waiting on getting a Rhyperior and the TM for Ice Beam before I went in (and you know, finals).  I faced them almost immediately after I got what I needed. I also finally managed to get 10,000 coins.  Since I already was getting the TM I was saving for, I just got Thunderbolt instead.
My team was all lvl 45 and consisted of: Jynx, Ampharos, Jumpluff, Dragonair, Typlosion, and Rhyperior.

Karen surprisingly gave me the most trouble. That Houndour took out most of my team.  Surprisingly, it was Jumpluff that took him out.  Leach seed and headbutt combined with the sheer luck of making it flinch 3 times in a row did it for me.  Jynx and Ice Beam made Lance a pushover.  Everyone else was pretty easy though.  Dragonair got the least amount of use which was a bit odd, I suppose.

Did you find the Rhyperior item (whatever it's called) in the game, or was this a trade from P/D/P?

The item is called Protector and can be found in Mt. Mortor is HG/SS.

Good to know. That'll be my next stop, and I'll have to take Rhyhorn through the Elite Four.

One little thing. You want an Adament natured Ryhorn with the Rock head ability. The Rock head ability changes to a very good ability for Rypherior.Lighting Rod is really only good for double battles.

Just tryin' to fill the Pokedex, sir. I've got plenty of battle-ready Pokemon. I can roll through the Elite Four with just four: Palkia, Charizard, Salamance, and Luxray. So I can generally evolve two Pokemans per Elite Four battle, assuming they don't have a really high evolution level.

*looks up Rhyhorn*

Wow, Lv. 42 is when he evolves? Screw that noise. I'll have to take him through TWICE.
 
Also, how the EFF do I get Wormaden to evolve into Cascoon? I've caught like eight Wormadens and they always evolve into Silkoon. ARGH!

I think you mean Wurmple Halbred. Anyway its evolution is odd. You have to have a personality factor of 4 for Silicoon and 5 for Cascoon. I just catch Silicoon and Cascoon to avoid that mess. There isn't really any worth while moves you can learn as Wurmple.

I'll have to catch a Cascoon during the Bug-Catching Contest and then just "retire," even though there's no way a Cascoon will win anything worthwhile. I want that Dustox!

I bred one of my Rhyhorns during lunch and whaddayaknow? The first Egg that hatched came out with Rock Head! Whoo! Now off to find that Protector!

EDIT: Hey, I also found a Dubious Disk! I should breed a Porygon, then trade it while holding the Upgrade...then when it's traded back to me, make it hold the Dubious Disk and trade it AGAIN! Then I'll have a Lv. 1 Porygon3! :-D

Yeah, I kinda missed that boat in my haste, but I'm still happy with it. I taught it Surf since I don't have a water type, and it's come in handy a suprisingly large number of times.

Hey everybody starting May 6th and going till June 25 there will be a new route avalable for the pokewalker.The route is called Winners Path.
On this route you can get pokemon that have moves that they don't normally have. Like a Munchlax with selfdistruct. Also different items that are hard to get.

All you got to do is download the route via mystery gift.

Oh! I forgot to tell ya'll. I found a Shining Ponyta a few nights ago just outside Mt. Silver. First Shining Pokemon (aside from Red Gyarados) I've seen. I caught him with a Quick Ball.

UPDATE: Hell yeah! Last night, I spent a bit of time catching all the available Hoenn Pokemon using the "Hoenn Sounds" radio station, and at lunch today, I caught all the available Shinnoh Pokemon using the "Shinnoh Sounds" radio station!
 
I'm getting a lot closer to a complete Pokedex than I ever thought I'd go for.
 
QUESTION: What's the quickest way to make your Pokemon happy enough to evolve with a level-up? I have a lot Pokemon that evolve via happiness, but I haven't bothered doing it yet because I remember it being a fracking pain.

Feed them a bunch of vitamins, that usually helps.

Don't forget to take them to the Goldenrod Tunnel to get them haircuts, today is the older brother (who charges 500 and does a better job).

There is a few ways Halbred.Do like Nickmitch said and give them vitamins. That can get expensive though. Have the pokemon hold a soothe ball.That makes the pokemon happier. Give the pokemon haircuts and massages. Go to Goldenrod City for the haircuts and go underground where the 2 bros give haircuts. For the massages you go to Pallet Town and you go to Garys house and his sister will give your pokemon a massage.To check how happy your pokemon is head to Goldenrod City and head to the house above the bike shop and put your pokemon in the first spot on your team and talk to the lady.
