Thank you for the spoiler tag.  I love you.  Unfortunately, I fear some other jerkwad will spoiler it for me before the hour is up.

So go on a media black out for ST, stop looking in the threads related to the game you don't want spoiled.

It's hard when you know GoNintendo or Kotaku will post something and it'll be in the headline.  I don't seek this information out, but unless I stop using the Internet for the next month it can't be helped.

OH HAY LOOK

Screw you, GoHobo.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Blowing into the mic is never fun. However, I like the idea of an interactive instrument, like the Ocarina. In fact, its use mirrors that of the Ocarina of Time...

That's the unfortunate side of the modern day World Wide Web, I'm afraid. It is the reason I've become much more choosy with the gaming websites I visit. Information you don't want to know yet is too easy to accidentally come across, which is why, in a bizarre twist, Nintendo's recent policy of being more secretive about their future first-party software is kind of a blessing. When there's less info being exposed, the internet cannot throw so much of it in our faces. I'm just happy that I still know very little about Spirit Tracks, as well as New Super Mario Bros Wii.

I agree with everything you said.  Unfortunately, I cant just not visit these sites.  They provide valuable information that most other sites don't--for example, did you know that Bit.Trip BEAT was updated today?  They fixed the saving bug that was present in the NA version of the game and made some of the harder-to-see beats easier to spot.  This is great news that I likely would never have found out if I didn't read GoNintendo.

I really wasn't looking forward to this game but the recent news have made it seem a lot cooler. Sounds like they have mixed it up from what PH was.

I was the same way kraken. Something about that initial trailer really put me off but hearing tidbits about the game make me pretty excited for it.

i dont understand why i was so put off though.. PH ended up being a lot more fun than a lot of people here made it out to be and the creativity in using some of the weopons on the touch screen felt so fresh and unique, unlike the rest of the somewhat stale zelda formula.. point is, ST looked like an even more unique take on zelda when first introduced, but somehow it put me off.. but no longer! I might pick this one up on launch day now.

I read it. One part they alluded to being very rewarding for long time fans has me seriously curious about what it is (even that spoiler article wouldn't say what it was specifically) Hint:It involves Link and Zelda, with Zelda 'freaking out'.

There isn't nearly enough hype in this thread considering we have a new Zelda game releasing in 3 days.

I already have my copy pre-ordered from Amazon.
