Other than then the items we all expect (console, video cables, power adapter, at least 1 nunchuck and 1 remote) I would be satisfy with the following:
2 nunchuck attachment with their corresponding remote ( since some games will probably utilize two remotes, it make sense to just have two right out of the box)
1 shell (I'm wavering on this requirement, but it would be great to have it)
3 free virtual console downloads (this is to get people to try out the virtual console)
1 demo disc to show the various uses of the controller and a video on how to setup the Wii and how to setup the Wi-Fi service. The demo disc should include a simple puzzle game that is online capable. This is so users will use the online service and get a feel for it.
I think that will make the Wii a great experience right out of the box. Its all about getting the consumers up to speed on it capabilities. Since Nintendo's target audience is the general public, this package would seem to be the best. Also, I think a worthy price for this package would be around $249.99 at launch.
