I think those 130 new Xbox owners just bought it so they'd feel special for making such a dent in the charts! "The POWER!"

Heh yall,

I could really use some help, can yall provide me with links to US sales figures, Euro sales figures, and Aussie sales figures.  I tried Google and all I got was a buncjh of BS.

Also, how do you provide a link to your site in your slogan thing?

For those that want to see what I am trying to accomplish, here is a direct link  Here

the only US charts are the NPD 's and those cost about $15,000 annually and are not readily available to the public, however you can find the #'s in this here very thread, I think for every month so far this year +some.

As far as Euro #'s I provided a link to those(i think it was UK though) somewhere in this thread too, but you're gonna have to look for yourself.

Aussie #'s..... your on your own with that one....

edit: making an addition

I have to ask, where did you get that figure from?

Of last week's top ten, Nintendo handhelds account for 39% of the sales.  If you count total sales of the games in last week's top ten Nintendo handhelds account for 55%.  If you count hardware sales for last week they account for 58%.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I'm talking units sold in the Japanese handheld market.

I wonder if the PSP is  taking away business from Nintendo much or creating a new market?

I am a bit worried that  the PSP will pick up steam in a year or two when it falls in price and the game library grows, memory stick prices fall further and umds get cheaper and more plentiful.

But then again I think it's appeal is more multimedia.

in a year or two GBE will be released and and it will be too late for PSP to pick up steam, cause it will get steam rolled by the 3 Nintendo pillars of the time

And whoa, what is with the ridiculously low Madden Sales?

to be fair, the nintendo versions were pretty much the only ones advertised by EA themselves unless it was a third party commercial like Walmart who featured them all.

why is the DS numbers always so cryptic in NPD data O_o? why they dont just release the numbers plain and simple?

berto's right; EA knows that the Sony and MS versions will sell regardless; they need to market the GC one just so we stubborn nitnendo fans will try out another developer's game.

I heard Madden takes up a billion blocks on the GC memory card, it's not worth all the trouble. If EA are gonna be lazy like that, i'm going to be lazy and not even play their games.

Also Madden sales aren't down from last year, they're slightly UP.

Wasn't there a record amount of copies sold in the first week? Probably because of the exclusivity recently acquired.
