The majority rule is meant to give more opportunity for players to show up and vote as well as make it easier for the host. Of course, if a majority is reached, a host may have to suddenly spring into action to close the thread and move forward but that's where the night action phase can help you. I gave the night action phase a 12 hour (half day period) since a day could end unexpectedly but that was the maximum length. If night actions are sent sooner, then you don't have to wait the full 12 hours and could launch another day when it is a bit more convenient for you or at a better scheduling point in case the next day goes the full 48 hours or whatever deadline you give it. So far I've been the only one to try it but I'd love to see some feedback on what another host thinks or how they might work it. |
