Nice job, mafia, you took out a guy with no role who hadn't had time to really do much in this game yet. You've got worse tactics than Jurgen Klinsmann!

And if the townies are smart, they will be the ones to do it

Thanks, Insanolord. This is why I've not been making Mafia Dead threads. Eliminated players trying to influence the remaining players on how they think they should play. What happened to the days when we just promised vendettas and revenge? Maxi ruined the Dead Threads for us all.

While I was debating whether or not to leave Stevey's post in this thread or delete, I've decided to let it be for this game as proof that the Dead threads should maybe go the way of the Dodo and because I'll use this opportunity to remind the remaining players that this is but one way the game could play out but there are other ways to and it is up to you all to plan and figure out all the moves and what you wish to take.

Honestly I just wanted a place to say "worse tactics than Jurgen Klinsmann", but if you think these threads are bad for the game I won't make any more in the future. I had no idea you felt that way.

It's a feeling that's been growing over the years. Once I finally had some situations where I needed to delete or edit posts because I thought they were crossing a line in a dead player still playing, that's when I found myself starting to get leery of Dead Threads and hoping a player wouldn't post something needing moderation again because I really don't like deleting a person's post. Plus, a lot of times with our recent games, they don't get used that much.

That's why I didn't make one for the Animal Kingdom game I hosted previously. We had such a long period of inactivity before that game, I was hoping players might have forgotten about it and it seemed to work out alright for the first three days or so but then a couple people did remember it and brought it up. I explained my reasoning to them at the time and we did play that game without it and it seemed to work out fine but the other hosts after me all had one so the Dead Thread tradition seems to be staying alive.

I wasn't going to bother with one again this game also but then you made one. I laughed to myself that, of course, the one player who had to be eliminated is the one with the most mod powers who could just make the Dead Thread himself which is fine since the first one eliminated often made the thread in the Funhouse days of this game so the tradition continues. If I really wanted to, I could have deleted it after you posted it and explained why but I decided to just let it be since some do like it. I was just hoping that it wouldn't cause any problems and fortunately, for awhile, it seemed to prove my theory that it isn't needed since it wasn't being used. Until it was used. However, maybe I'm just more sensitive to Dead Thread posting than other users since I have had to deal with issues stemming from it in the past. Admittedly, I've let Thatguy get away with some stuff that is crossing the line of unwritten rules in Pokepal's games because it appealed to me so it's not like I'm always correct or in the right on Mafia matters and maybe this is a case where I should learn to stop worrying and love the bomb Dead Thread.
