Story

Announcements:

jrlibrarian was killed by the vote. He was a townie.

Crimm was taken out by the Killer. He was Jonny Metts, the Godfather of the RFN Mafia.

Spak-Spang was killed due to inactivity. He was a townie.

Day will end at Midnight EST.

Night action period will be open for one hour or you can send them while the thread is up.

If there is a tie then the thread will stay open till for 30 mins. If it is still tied then everyone tied will be killed.

You must vote once every 3 days or else you will be gone from the game.

Send your actions to both me and Maxi so we can double check.

unVote Oblivion for the time being because he's done more posting complaining about the game than actually being active in the game, and his only vote was for "no one". I think it's a cover for something.

Of course, if someone can make a compelling argument otherwise, I may reconsider.

Edit: I am keeping my vote for now, but am wondering if Stevey could be mafia. He has been quiet with the exception of placing one vote yesterday to keep himself in the game. I need to think a little bit.

With us townies killing off so many of our own, the mafia has good reason to lay low. They don't really need to sway the vote in any particular direction.

I'm not complaining. I'm commenting on how stupid the Killer was. Those earlier rants are legit ones, considering all the wagoning that was going on. That, more than anything, pisses me off.

And voting for "no one" is scummy? Bullshit. It's a valid strategy. Let me reiterate what I said in another thread:

Oblivion, I didn't call it "scummy", don't put words in my mouth.

I'm voting for you more than anything because the one point you're required to vote to stay in the game because you hadn't voted the two days prior, you find a way to not participate anyway, all the while complaining about the game in the dead posters thread.If you're going to spend more time in the dead posters thread than the actual game threads, you may as well belong there.

I can't tell whether you're being intentionally whiney in these threads to deflect anyone's concern about you being mafia or if you're just prone to complaining without providing any constructive feedback, but I suggest you give an idea of who should be voted against and why if you don't want to be done with this game today, because apparently I'm not the only one whose tired of it.

Ok after reading through the days, here is what I've come up with:

Ceric. Stratos. Mop_it_up/Stevey. They are most likely mafia.

Oohhboy is most likely the Killer.

If I had to pick one, I would say Ceric. His votes have been all over the place as if trying to look nonchalant, but they end up looking silly and unfounded as if to say that they don't even matter.

Rule of thumb. Simply say "Vote ____" in bold and go back to your last post and edit it so it's un-bolded and say "un-vote ____"

it's much easier to read that way.

Stepping in here as a moderator and not a dead player though I hope you are all haunted by my death. Pretty sure Oblivion is posting his votes the same as when he plays mafia on other forums in which he is probably supposed to put unvote in bold. Sure it would be nice that he voted and unvoted the way we ask and it is your call as host to include it or not but it is something to keep in mind. I think we can all tell what his intentions in voting are.

That's fair Khushrenada and I have seen it done like that on other forums so as long as we see an unvote in there. Actually thinking back on this forum you did not always have to have non bolded text when unvoting your previous vote it was just modified for newer games to streamline the game a little bit.

I agree that I don't think Oblivion is trying to hide something, I think he's legitimately annoyed by how things have been going.

My work schedule makes me late to the party, so in this game I haven't really been able to be around when the deciding votes have been cast. I agree that Ceric is likely, so I'll toss out a vote in case anyone tries to swing things.
