Kicking things off, Scott, Danny, and Zach sit down to talk about all the games they've been playing recently. While Zach has been enjoying the 8-bit Summer, Scott has been slowly making his way through Xenoblade Chronicles. Danny, on the other hand, has revisited the GameCube classic Eternal Darkness. Or is it an insanity effect? After that, the meat of the show arrives. Danny and Daan join Scott to talk about all the great things that haven't come to America yet, like the 3DS XL, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Oni Training, and more. If you live in North America and are patiently waiting for these things to arrive, this segment should be plenty to hold you over.As always, you can click here to send us listener mail. If you get a chance to rate and review us on iTunes, that's be great, too. And I'm sure you are already planning on doing so, but be sure to tune into Radio Free Nintendo's 300th show this weekend. Glad0s:
I get the feeling that I'm going to be the only one who actually gets the reference in the title....kinda reminds me of the RFN episode titled "In the Flesh?".
SonofMrPeanut:
You heard the title, start thinking of hidden Nintendo messages!
BTW, I was the walrus.
Glad0s:
Nonono, the Walrus was Paul. Also, while we're on the subject of classic rock...you may not be aware of this, but your avatar pic is a reference to the extremely awesome Clash album, London Calling. Just saying.
Pandareus:
Do the different paths in Eternal Darkness actually reduce one of your meters? I can't say I've ever noticed that or heard anyone mention it.
I think the blue path is the hardest simply because you end up getting the red magic last, and therefore end up being unable to heal for half the game.
EDIT - About the investigator at the beginning looking weird, I remember theories at the time that he was really a monster in a human's skin.
