Thanks for the letter. It would make a good addition to my
"Mixed" section, but I'm now thinking about removing the essay
from my site. Mostly it just generates nasty letters from people
who are mad because I called them stupid. I'll replace the essay
with a notice that any magazine (either print or on-line) is
welcome to the essay if they want to give it a home.

In your long list of game systems, you missed the ones that I
had. I had Colecovision, which I thought had the best games.
I also used a TRS-80 for a long time. It had some good games,
especially the text adventure games by Scott Adams. I programmed
Kriegspiel (the chess variation not the video game) on the TRS-80
and it was published by Creative Computing. Unfortunately, only
about ten people bought it.
