Cave Story being remade AGAIN as an eShop game

Well yeah, now I know that from doing a Google search. Anyways, the point of my thread is about Cave Story. Thanks for pointing out how misinformed I was concerning the people at GoNintendo. :)

Ya know, if this game was any less awesome than it is, I'd be annoyed by the constant re-releases. Seeing as it is really awesome, I'll tolerate at least one more re-release.
But seriously. Gimme a sequel, Nicalis.

Don't ask Nicalis for a sequel. They only ported the game to consoles. "Pixel" is the true brains behind Cave Story.

Nicalis did develop the original content for it though, and they actually own the rights to the game (at least the trademark for the name). Daisuke Amaya has pretty much not touched it since he created the freeware version back in 2004.
