No News on AC2?

Did Nintendo not show anything on the next Animal Crossing at E3? I haven't heard about their doing so yet. If not, I would be saddened.

Nintendo isn't very far past the PLANNING stages yet, so I wouldn't expect anything on AC2 till at least next E3...and that's being optimistic. AC2 is shooting for a late 2004 release in the States.

Alright. I hadn't check on the progress in a while. I was just wondering. I'm a huge AC fan, but I have worn out the original now.

Nope, It's a 2004 title, and too many of those weren't shown at E3. Mainly just Resident Evil 4...

I fear AC2 won't show up until next-gen. The japaneses get a release of the american version of AC... and then there is this deal with EA and this Sims project on GC/GBA : Sims and AC battle in the same genre category (though I prefer a lot AC), Nintendo won't take the risk to overshadow EA title to keep this third party happy...
