The only, AND I DO MEAN ONLY, context in which it is appropriate not hail Majora as the pinnacle of Zelda game design is when you compare it directly to Wind Waker.
And even then, on most days I would choose Majora over Wind Waker because fear is a more powerful and resonant emotion than joy.

I prefer Wind Waker, though Majora's is on the top of my pile of shame. I've watched my college roommate play most of it. I've seen the ending. I've just never gotten farther than the second dungeon by myself.

I guess I'm just not as passionate about Zelda as most of the people here, outside of Ocarina, which I'm pretty sure has a lot to do with nostalgia. I own a ton of them, but most of the time I'd choose something else over them.

JP just really wants to be the next Jon Lindemann.
NWR_insanolord:
Massive backlog that I make very little effort to get through? Check.
Controversial, vaguely insulting statements about Nintendo? Check.
Adversarial relationship with James Jones? Check.
I should just shave my head and be done with it.
