I think it's very important what NIntendo did this year at E3. For the GameCube they've shown already announced titles, and then they've stepped aside and said: "This year take a look at the fantastic 3rd parties like Capcom, Konami, Namco, Sega, EA, Ubi Soft and all the AAA titles their releasing, multiplatform or exclusive." I myself was very impressed by Prince of Persia:TSOT, Beyond Good & Evil, Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, Sonic Heroes, Billy Hatcher, Metal Gear Solid:TTS, F-Zero GX, Wario World and definately by Mario KartD. |

By NO means do I hate everything not on PS2, in fact PS2 has the worst good game/bad game percentage of the current generation (Dreamcast had the best. Gogo Dreamcast!). It just so happens that I really like most of the good games, such as MGS2, Devil May Cry, Silent Hill and Virtua Fighter 4. I own more PC games that PS2 games, in fact. Just because PS2 is my favourite console, doesn't mean that I'm a mindless fanboy...for example I was having a discussion in the TTS thread about how much more powerful XBox is than GCN...and I would class myself as not liking XBox. Anyway, I don't see what the big problem is with sequels. If it aint broke, dont fix it. |
