The spider I saw in my garage a few years ago was as big as a shoe. I didn't have a digicam at the time, and I couldn't take a picture of it anyway cuz it was on the doormat between me and the door into the house and I had to get thru somehow but I was IMPOTENT WITH FEAR.

I didn't realize that spiders got that big in Sac-Town.

The biggest spider I saw in the wild was the garden spiders we used to get in our vegetable garden as kid. I think the biggest had a leg span of about 2.5 inches. They liked to string their webs between our tomato plants and sit in the middle.

Whats going on:
A lady with a fake seal on her head taunts a polar bear by peek the head above the water line.
The Polar Bear falls for it and dives into the glass.
