i pre ordered zelda at toys r us jan 31. i went in on the 18th to pick up my bonus disk, but they didnt have any. 2 days later i go back, and they sold their entire shipment sunday.... that means no bonus disk for me.... anyone else have that problem?
Mingesium:
I'm sure there will be another shipment. The pre-order deal last a whole month.

Advice: Goto another store like Electronics Boutique or Circuit City or Best Buy, and buy Wind Waker to get the free bonus disc. Then go back to toysrus and demand a refund.
My Electronics Boutique actually *reserved* their copies. They hid them in the back and only gave to those with receipts.

Let US do the moderation. Besides, didn't you say you were leaving because we were too strict? Put up or shut up.
Back to the question ...
Toys 'R' Us is NOTORIOUS for screwing up pre-orders. First, they don't have any sort of pre-order system. All pre-ordering at Toys 'R' Us does is give you a tag. Theoretically, the stores set aside however many copies of the game were pre-ordered, but I have been to at least SEVEN different TRU stores where they will get a shipment, open it up and start selling to anyone that wants it, not bothering to check how many pre-orders there were. This happened with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and many other major game releases.
If you are going to pre-order, so it from a store with an established pre-order program, and does so in first in, first out fashion.
That said, TRU is a godsend for people who forget to pre-order, since you can almost always get a copy of anything the day it releases.
