Sony released the PS3.  Hotz hacked it.  Sony removed the feature that Hotz used to hack it. Anonymous got mad, then hacked PSN.

So, Point A, lead to B, which lead to C, then to D.  Point A is Indirectly responsible for Point D.

Thanks Sony...  It's all your fault for releasing the PS3 to begin with!  Bastards.

What? It's fact. Hotz hacked the PS3 for no reason other than to hack it. Sony removed the feature he used to do it, a feature which almost no one used anyways. In retaliation, a group of criminals hacked PSN and caused millions of people to not be able to play their games online or buy digital games for weeks.

Point A leads to Point B which leads to Point C.  Point A is indirectly responsible for Point C.

They got a full game. It wasn't 1/3 of a game, it was the first in a trilogy. But it was still a stand-alone game. Not saying the whole blame is on Epic Games, but Epic did deliberately hold back features of the engine so they could take advantage of it before others.

They would have removed it eventually anyways. But Anon got upset for no reason, they were bitching about Sony removing OtherOS even though almost no one used it. Bottom line, Hotz is the reason millions of PSN owners couldn't access it for a month.

60+ million dollars to make over 8 year cycle time and only this thing they got for it was 1/3 of a crappy game?  And yeah I played and finished Too Human.  SK blamed Epic for their failure.

Xmen same crap, blamed everyone but themselves and then deny even working on it at all?

umm... no, sony removed the feature because geo had used it to hack the PS3. He hacked it again to find an exploit to bring it back. all he did really is violate sony's tos and he was sued. that is what prompted the anon hack. a year ago actually he explained to sony engineers how he broke in to the system.
