Which page?  I bet we can't see it.  What number is it on that page?

If it's on the same page I linked to, it certainly isn't there.  Can you see my comment?

6452
I'm getting that impression.  Though, there could just be a comment lockdown from the Penny-Arcade mention, it doesn't make sense that I'm allowed to even post and the comments show up on my own page when I go there.  I think I'll close all my browser windows and see what happens when I load them back up.

Edit: Nope, it's still there.

The link http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/8493/commentmv2.jpg shows what I see when I go to that page and scroll down some.

Try posting something, and see what happens, then maybe taking a screenshot and posting it here.  I think this website is almost certainly an entire scam, and not just a spin machine.

Hey, could someone do me a quick favor and see if they can see a comment from a commenter named "Jason" on this site: http://threespeech.com/blog/?p=446#comments

I'm suddenly getting the feeling that the comments on this blog are entirely fabricated over time, and that everyone sees their own comments, but no one else's, except for the plants.  I smell another dirty, dirty trick, though I could be wrong.

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda Universe?

Go to http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.jsp, then do a search for "Zelda Universe."

Anyone know what this is?  It says "Online" for the platform, but a google search for Zelda Universe leads to a fansite, not an official site, as best as I can tell.

Or just watch Zoolander, and you can see what they mean.  Though, if you listen to me about this, you'll have to sit through all of Zoolander.

In that case, just listen to LH.

General Gaming / RE: Microsoft showing their true colors once again.

1500 a day, 365 days a year, means that in the UK, half a million 360s break a year.
There are about 1.3 million 360s in the UK, and the 360 has been out for about a year and a half.
From the numbers this article gives, mathmatical trend suggests that about half of all working 360s end up breaking over a fairly short period of time.

Now, I don't believe this entirely.  There is a whole lot of net ruckus over people owning more than two 360s just to replenish broken ones, so I suppose it could be possible, but honestly, anything close to 10% failure rate seems devastating enough to me, so I don't think Microsoft could release such faulty hardware.  Their information does show that a more in-depth form of research needs to happen soon, so Microsoft can straighten this out.  I could see world-wide class-action lawsuit occurring from a decent study, if my math is anywhere near accurate.

I didn't make my avatar.  I just used what Dasmos did.  Blame him.  I don't even have a GIF animator.

I've got a PS2, but it's laser is on the fritz.  I can revive it for a few hours, but every time I want to play, I have to take it apart first.

I might wait until I get a new roommate in January, since he has a working PS2.  At that point, I'll probably get a 360, too, since there will be two actual gamers around for the first time ever for me.  It should be interesting.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Metroid Prime 3 Revolutionized
« on: June 26, 2007, 02:49:10 PM »
Actually, on a game-related note, I've been thinking about some of the newer MP3 information.  I now think that they chose to release the game this much later in order to have a release date closer to, but before Halo 3, along with the "upping the quality" thing.  If MP3 is equally amazing to Halo 3, but is released a few months earlier, it would be possible to steal a whole lot of Halo 3 thunder.  That's only if the game as at least just as good, though.  Perhaps this was Nintendo's original idea?

I still have to wonder about the multi-player.  What was revolutionary about Halo?  To me, I always thought it was supposed to be a grandiose multi-player experience.  If I'm wrong, someone please fill me in.

Yes, the Statue of Liberty is indeed a 'she.'  As far as I can find, there is not even a hint that the statue was ever meant to portray a man instead of a woman.  What source do you have that says otherwise?

If you make just the precise Wii-mote movements, I hear you can guide Samus's hand, then get her to completely take off her suit...

Or not...

« on: June 26, 2007, 12:19:36 PM »
What's the best wedding food you've ever had?  You can talk about more than one thing, since I'm no soup nazi.

I have to say that my favorite was probably some meatballs my sister just had at her wedding.  I love meatball subs, and these were like 20x better than the norm, even though there wasn't bread.

I don't prefer chocolate, but I have to say that the best I've seen cake-wise, was a nearly pure-chocolate groom's cake.  It had fudge cubes piled on top, with chocolate frosting, and the cake itself was chocolate too.  At the reception, the caterer wouldn't take it outside until right before it was cut for fear of melting it, which shows you how much chocolate was on this cake.  If I can find a picture of it, I think I'll link it up here.

Alright, so I must ask.  I only plan on buying one SNES Street Fighter II game, aside from alpha, which will be a separate decision.

Which is better:  Turbo speeds or the extra characters in SSF2?

That almost seems like a mailbag question.  I might have to send that one in...

Sony and Microsoft have both said it all along.  Really, if they would just go right out and do it, it would work much better than trying to subversively taking over the living room.
