I still plan to jack up that goon unless he admits he was wrong.

In other news, there are at least two million idiots.

Well, sorry Kai, but I guess it's basically over. I, as graciously as I could, tried to negotiate to pay for the listing fees, and as he retored me with such strong logic as "since when are people compassionate". During an epic CAG battle, I threatened to file a complaint and..

Victory.

Now I can hope I don't get neg feedback.

Oh, and that HAS to be against SOME sort of rule. Like, falsely describing the product. Unless, in fact, Nintendo really did give out 2 DS' with Miyamoto skins on 'em at some past E3...

For true? Anything you want to trade for it? Perhaps a DS Lite or game that you don't want/like?

No, that wasn't me.

Aren't there any ebay rules against that kind of thing?

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with me. The listing is like,

"You are bidding on a Rare Limited Edtion Nintendo DS with Shigeru Miyamoto. Only 2 were given out a few years ago at E3. Cannot get anywhere else! This is very Rare! Comes with original box, instructions, stylus, and AC adapter. Complete Nintendo DS system!"

What the hell.. how could I have done this? It's just a damn SKIN.

I guess I just shelled out a hundred fifty bucks for a "Special Miyamoto Edition" DS.. I was under the impression that it was some ultra-rare limited edition given out at E3 '05. It's actually just a skin on a DS. Great. Not even a DS Lite, just a Phat.

The auction gives the impression that it's a rare Miyamoto edition.. I got a DS Phat, an old item I've ahd for two years, and a sticker on it. I thought it was actually a hardware variation (i.e. the casing), but no.

I'll probably end up reselling it, because I'm not intending to get bad feedback. *sigh* this has to stop happening all the time.

So nutz to Sonic in Brawl.  It'll probably happen, but if Sega is too proud to let a former competitor help them out (which they seem to be, considering all their stupid decisions regarding development last gen), then they don't need to show up in Brawl.

End of discussion re: Sega re: SSBB.

Nintendo knows this is a huge franchise.  I'll bet they've gotten requests from just about every major Japanese dev asking for their characters to be in SSBB.  It's a gauranteed 2-3 million seller in Japan alone, and at least that in America.  You can't buy that kind of exposure for your characters.

I agree with that, like mad. Sega isn't the same company that gave us the amazing experiences that were Saturn and Dreamcast. Sega's second-rate, generic, and no longer very.. well, good.

With all this Turbografx-16 stuff going on, I'd love to see someone iconic of that console make it over. Unfortunately, I don't see Bonk having a good enough moveset (perhaps if he were fast but also powerful to make up for his short range), and Bomberman would be cool although it has become multiconsole.

They should definitely use the Jump engine for Nintendo characters.

Maybe have it interact with the Wii version.

rant over

Even worse was last month's issue: A six page feature on Xbox360 arcade, then a little blurb that talked about: "What about PS3 and Wii?"

Like four paragraphs on PS3 and one sentence on Wii.

Does anyone know about EA? To the mainstreasm consumer no Madden online could potentially be a big deal.

I can't even think of any third party games that could have gone online.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII Ubisoft
Blitz: The League Midway
Call of Duty 3 Activision
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Atari
Elebits Konami
Far Cry Ubisoft
GT Pro Series Ubisoft
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers Square Enix
Madden NFL 07 EA
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Activision
Monster 4x4 World Circuit Ubisoft
Need for Speed: Carbon EA
Red Steel Ubisoft
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz Sega
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam Activision

That's just launch titles, I might add. In my mind, if it has conventional multiplayer that can work online, it should be online. Simple. And now it seems we won't be getting any launch titles at all online, which means goodbye Wii sports, Excite Truck, whatever.

Don't say Nintendo is in the right here. It's not going to bode well with the softcore consumer, especially if they're interested in the overhaul something mainstream like Madden only to find that it's not online. That *will* make them pick the 360 version.

I really hate to be an Ian, but it seems Nintendo just can't keep up with the competition (and YES, they are still competing; even Reggie admits it) in many facets. I know this affects me, but lord knows that when we have to wait a year for a crappy "friend-code" based online structure that's no better than online gaming in the 16 and 32 bit eras, we have a problem.

Wait a second what kinds of online gaming did we have in the 16bit and 32bit eras? Or are you being a tad bit overdramatic.

Then, there was essentially the same thing Nintendo has now: You exchanged phone numbers with a friend and connect to them, or you connected to someone randomly. No communication. No lag.

But I guess you probably think there was no online, right? *sigh*

That. Would. Be. Awesome. 1-up Green! DK brown! Metroid Transluscent! Tingle's "close friends" purple!

Yeah. That conference.. meh.

Nintendo will keep torturing us forever. I just want a release date. Is that so hard? You already have like a million or more Wiis made. You're just asking to get your warehouses ransacked.

Well guys, it's gotta be TGS. It's got to be.

I want details on the online system.. surely the backlash they've recieved about the Friend Code nonsense has gotten them to reconsider. I just want to be able to talk to the people I'm playing against and be able to add friends on the fly.

I remember this image circulating the net about 2 years ago. It was presented as a fake then, and I'd be surprised if Nintendo produced a GCN-NES without telling us a thing.

That is a mistake.

What is your problem? WHY NINTENDO? I wanted a Wii to play archaic ports with minor enhancements! Not for this "motion sensing" satanism that you force upon me! Curse you Nintendo, curse your EVIL WAYS for forcing me, FORCING ME to "move" my "wrist" to play your evil, evil games. I'll throw away 600 dollars to induce massive damage upon crabs for this!
