The poor poor Japanese... WHY?!?!? Why are you doing this to them?!?!?! They only want to buy more DS games! Is that so bad? Is it? Zelda never sold great there... never! It's not their fault! It's... it's... just that they have really small rooms...

How do you quote me on saying that they "love RPGs" and then accuse me of ignoring the fact that they like RPGs in the same sentence?

RPGs are typically very easy games, easy because even the most difficult opponents can be overcome with enough mindless farming of enemies until you can overpower the bosses you need to kill.

The newer-style RPGs are. Xenosaga, FF post X, etc. But FFIII, a very difficult old-style RPG sold through the roof, as has the Dragon Quest series.

I just read the letters S, N, and K in sequence regarding the Wii VC.

Now I need to wash my pants.

That really makes me fume. The worst system for this is Turbografx, where all Japanese PC Engine cards are a huge hassle to use. What's the damn problem, Nintendo? All you do by region locking is encourage piracy. That's a huge image weakness when Sony and MS have moved past that immature trash.

Well, to Ian and the guys who doubted Nintendo, you may place your foot in your mouth.

I'm sure it sold quite well. Probably enough to warrant a sequel. We'll see in a few days.

Looks fantastic.

I'm very impressed with the Wii music as of late. Both SSBB and Zelda have that vibe of excellent music.. I had Majora's Mask flashbacks due to the musical excellence.

Ugh. If 2 and 3 were included that would be a dealmaker even though I already have those three.

I need 2 and 3 to sit with my 4, Code Veronica, 0, and Remake. But I don't want to spend 80 dollars on used copies.

Ya know, you're probably right. Good point. I'll bet MS offered a LOT to get MGS4 lol. I think in the end though, MGS4 will probably be ported to 360.

Substance sold like crap and Kojima has said he wants to stay on Sony.

Hence MGS3 never saw an Xbox version.

I think it's interesting how everyone assumed that with the announcement of Dead or Alive, 360 would start selling. The console hardly sold but it had a huge penetration rate amongst owners of the console. Then everyone said the same of Dead Rising. Same result. There may be a micro-rush for a limited edition console or something, but Blue Drag isn't going to creative massive attention for 360 in Japan. Yes, essentialy every 360 owner will buy it. Even with both of them behind it though, it'll be another installment in a long line of Japanese games that everyone called "Teh great MS hope" that ultimately do nothing to prevent MS from falling further and further into oblivion.

Or when Square Enix suddenly announces a FFXIII port to 360.

As for ebay, that's something I didn't think of. I have seen used Micro's sold in places like EB Games but they are more expensive than this price.

I'm joking.

When I was in Vancouver I thought buying a Gamecube game would be a sweet deal but the high tax (17%) killed the exchange rate advantage. It sucked, so since then I've remembered it.

After paying Canada's 47% socialist pig tax, I don't think it's a good deal at all.

But it's better than what it was released for. Still, there is pretty low demand for the Micro so it goes cheaq at used game stores, ebay, etc.

45
Wow, I can't believe how much it sold to them.

Imagine if they has spent that money on dental work.

That's the better question.

Burninated!

Nintendo is notorious for sticking to old-style Japanese business guns in a changing world.. if Yamuchi were still in charge they'd really be mean to consumers.
