Could we make this thread "Androgynous emo of the day?"
It's cheaper then porn, and more dangerous!

I got this game because of all the glowing reviews on this forum.  I liked Dan, after being upgraded, more then the rest because of that kick his gun packs.  Most smiles go down in 2 or 3 shots without aiming at all.

That said, I probably liked his attitude more then anything.

Thread derailed in under 4 hours, by a cat.

That's all kinds of awesome.

I need info on this PPV special; clearly if it is worth 30 bucks it must be fantastic.

For all of us, we must know why it is worth this cash.  WATCH IT!

"Swing the wii-mote up to punch"

No, never mind.  That's far too much effort for the design team of a Rampage game.

I hope developers put thought into accessories they bundle with their games.  The only reason to add an attachment is if it adds to the gameplay.

One reason I don't like this idea is having this private showings allows companies to show their games in even more of a vacuum.  Developers do use the show to see what their competition is up to, and they do "steal" their ideas.  However, it keeps the industry at least somewhat competitive.  Sure, this could occur at TGC but you don't have the big public hands on (and public focus testing) that shows what works and what doesn't.

Look at the Wii, some publishers were really surprised how well the public took to it.  It may motivate them to change their plans.  In the planned vacuum that shift in perception may not have occurred.

They talk about how this makes it easier for publishers to get their stuff out there, but I see it as making it harder.  If they aren't at the same locations (talking about multiple hotels being used as sites) it makes moving from one place to another.  At least Kentia was only a walk away, if it were a drive away I doubt people would care to go see it.

Yes, that's Kid Dracula.

It's a Konami series with games on the NES and the GB (which I had).  Only the GB game came to the US.

Wikipedia:

The story of Kid Dracula is relatively simple. The self-proclaimed Demon King, Kid Dracula, has awoken from a long sleep, only to discover that the evil dinosaur-like creature Garamoth has challenged him (note that a character named Galamoth makes an appearance in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). Swiping his father's cape, it is then up to Kid Dracula himself to set out on the adventure to destroy the monster.

The game is basically a platformer.  You move till you reach a boss, fight him, get a new power, and next level.  The cool thing was Kid Dracula could turn into a bat (from the start I think) and fly for a limited time.   For a 2D platformer this added some dimension.

I have pretty good memories of this game, but I don't know where my copy is.

Ugh, a Monday in October?  I have classes.  I hope by October they have them out to play anyway, seeing as "Playing is Believing."  Failure to do as much would be pretty stupid on Nintendo's part; it would be undermining their very slogan!

Put in F Zero GX and pull out to the middle of the track.  Then slow way down and have a look.  After you've had a good look pull back up to full speed.

That's graphics done right.  It still looks fine going slow, but they designed the stages to look good at high speed without causing slowdown.

I'd rather see a movie made based on the NES GhostBusters game, then a movie game made from that movie.

GhostBusters The Game: The Movie: The Game.

I was thinking it was just a grip, I mean no one at E3 mentioned it.  Certainly now could be a bit late in the game to add buttons.  Devs are already hard at work, and I would think they would have mentioned the need for additional buttons, to Nintendo, months prior to E3.
