I don't think I mentioned it here, but I have said it before: EBA/Ouendan need to be assist trophies.

If you get them they cheer in the background, the music changes to something with a pulse, and your character's face controts into a determined glare.  You then become nearly invincible and do a ton of damage per hit you land.

I say now what I've said for a while: Sonic would be terrible.
Think about it: Every game Sonic has been in, in 3D, terrible.  It's like the Madden Curse.

Anyway, Sonic is about going fast.  If you go fast in Smash Bros?  Off the cliff.
His attacks are...him going non-stop in a ball of death.  He would go right off the side.  The other is a jump spin.

That's it.

Quite a lame character.

XP "just works" too.  I've never had it crash.  
Also, Macs have no viruses because no one bothers to write them.  Too few victims.  Nobody in the security field disputes that it can be done.

I disagree.  G4 had a load of garbage.

Judgement Day had that jackass
Electric Playground was always out of date and never provided much in terms of good info
Arena had the current host of Attack of the Show (who I can't stand) and the steroid freak leatherneck
Cheat was all about how many sponsors they could squeeze in
That show that was some guy talking to video game characters was stupid

64's squad based system allowed SO much more experimentation with classes.  

Shift this unit here.
Move this one there.
Change her class.
Move the ansate cross to her, and add some soldiers.
Give this guy a blessed sword.

Not only did you experiment with classes, but you also experimented with squad composition and layout.  You could find some absolutely unbeatable squad setups.
