Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't HDMI allow for uncompressed data stream?  While component has a very good signal, it's still being compressed?

My new HDTV (sans any HD service other than over-the-air PBS HD) has an unused HDMI port I'd love the Wii to use.

I sent RMC an e-mail once, politely asking about what the site's stance against trolls was, and explaining the annoyance of having to sift through them to read comments.  The crap kept up for a long while after, and I never got a reply. >.>

I'd love for there to be a survey done of current Wii owners in Japan to see what demographic they fit.  

It certainly seems like most of them are of the new-gamer crowd with Wii Sports and Wii Play being the beefy sellers, though it would still be nice to know for sure. Wii Sports is great stuff that everyone can enjoy, but the lower numbers of Zelda, Pokémon, and even WarioWare baffle...

Is it just me or is there also a firmware/software update for Wii upping the version number to 2.2U?  I had to clear and reload my USB connector settings and it had an update waiting to be downloaded afterwards.

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation, Mystic.  That type of screwing-over should have dire consequences for any parties involved.

I have a GED (Florida, as well, annoying circumstances led to me getting one in 2003).  All in all, it took me about a month to take the test (very easy), and get the diploma.  It looks next to exactly like a real High School Diploma, complete with diploma number, gold seal, and all.  Everything looks normal, except for a signature and the (small) words "Florida GED Administrator" underneath.  

In fact, if I recall correctly, if you score high enough you'll get an actual High School Diploma, like I described.  If you score under a certain level you get the GED diploma, which most likely looks much different.
