Yeah, I'm not going to finish my poe collection merely because I don't remember where I caught the ones up to now, and I'm not about to run all over the world trying to find the rest.  Well-made collections in games should include checklists that give identifying markers (such as location or giving each entry a name like A, B, C or 1, 2, 3).

They need a light, unbreakable diamond filament tether!

As well as a well-placed friendly reminder that huge sweeping motion is not really required for a game like Wii Sports (which I believe would be gold as a kiosk demo).

As well as no company wants to make way too many systems/products on the off chance they bomb and are stuck sitting in a warehouse.  Sales predictions are one thing, fear of telling the shareholders that your new system is ill-received and you made way too many of them is another thing.

Oh yeah, I agree.  To me, it's hard to place blame in a situation like this.  The contestants ought to have known about the dangers of drinking too much water too quickly, just as the radio station should've had medical professionals on hand just in case (did they?).  And then maybe no one's to blame in the end.

If it wasn't Wii, it would've been "Hold your pee for a PS3"...

I still don't understand the pricing.  $199 (full) / $100 (upgrade) for the horribly stunted Home Basic edition?  Then add $40 more for the full version or $59 more for the upgrade version of Home Premium which actually has more of the nifty new features such as Aero and Flip 3D.  And the so-called Ultimate edition with all the bells and whistles is a hefty $399 (full) $259 (upgrade).

Madness. Niche pricing for a dominant mainstream OS doesn't make sense to me.

It makes me cry that Nintendo didn't win the Invasive Living Room All-in-One Multimedia Entertainment Hub of the Year Award.

Would they raise the price of RPGs a bit to compensate for longer gameplay?

Porn hates Sony.

I am having a problem with some YouTube videos in my version.  They play for literally three seconds and the video is over and it asks the usual "play again?".  I'll try redownloading the browser and see what happens.

Update:  I "erased" the Internet Channel from my console and redownloaded it.  First thing that's odd is it saved my favorites list (maybe those are saved on your online account?), but apparently the problem is still there.  Three seconds of flash video and it goes boom.

Update 2: I'm watching a Rocky and Bullwinkle episode via Google Video right now.  It's a minute into it with no issues...

Edit:  Oops, I take that back, upon looking in the Wii memory management, the favorites and settings for the Internet Channel are in there.

Yeah...  I got my order of two in the mail yesterday and received an e-mail earlier tonight saying my order is shipping out again (received this same e-mail last Friday).

It's almost like... they want Sony to succeed.  *gasp!*

But really, that is bull.  Has there been any change of members in their boardroom since these silly decisions have started?

I suppose this counts, just found out about it through experiment.  In the Forecast Channel, if you hold A anywhere on the globe (as if to drag), and twist the remote, the world will spin in that direction.

Doesn't seem so much like a recall considering they're not asking for the old ones back.  I just placed an order for two, myself.

It does seem silly in the end though.  Time to dole out some personal responsibility on the irresponsible populace vigilante style!.

I'm pretty sure there's voice chat in the DS Diamond/Pearl (watched a cute video of two groups of Japanese people playing and chatting), and since the DS game can connect to Battle Revolution... Well, that's no guarantee, but the Wii game may allow some kind of voice chat.
