This and De Blob are on top of my watch list.  I absolutely love the art direction of this game.

I'd be a lot more excited about 16 player online if I hadn't already played with 32 players in Medal of Honor Heroes 2, but 16 is good too.

Have you ever played Halo online?  I was kind of like "meh" when I heard it only had 16 player online tops, but when I played it...it was far more than servicable.   Had a much faster and chaotic feel to it than MOHH2 ever had.  And with heavily varied weapons the conduit is suppose to sport, the online should be pretty crazy.

Anyone else excited about the 16 player online?  I hope HVS get their way with voice chat. :]

new video and screen shots.  Pretty damn good looking if I do say so myself.  And the alien weapons look so much better.  Oh and an interview too.

Well, I hope it's better than Ratatouille, I didn't particularly enjoy that one.

With that and Cars I was fearing Pixar was beginning to lose their touch, but Wall-E was a damn good movie.  Blew away my expectations.

my idea? drill into the heads of ALL developers that the classic and gamecube controllers are still available for use.  I'd much rather them utilize the old controller setup than forcing half-ass motion controls on a ported game.

kind of reminds me of f-zero.  But it looks pretty.  Looks more like Star Wars: Pod Racer plus weapons.

I'll be watching this one.

Omg, mariokart DLC is comming!

http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=18854

about damn time, Nintendo.  Now give me a harddrive.

I tried to add Wii points with my credit card last night so I could buy this game, and it wouldn't let me. Error Code 208009, aka, the "We don't want your money" EC.

EPIC FAIL  :'(

happened to me too.  It was nintendo's problem.  It's fixed now.

The game is pretty fun and the control scheme is very creative.

The hint at online mulitplayer at the end of the trailer made me happy.

I just wish nintendo would grow up and give the hardcore gamers what they want (voice chat, harddrive, etc).  I bet if nintendo released a harddrive, the vc and wiiware sales would rise because we wouldn't have to worry about space anymore. I don't understand nintendo's mentality.  Games like these need headsets and harddrives.

You gave mom's wiifit, now it's time to reward your faithful.

Anyways....I think the game looks pretty solid graphics wise.  Hope they don't rush the game out the door now. Polish could make this game look fantastic.  The hand and the ball-projector-thingy both look 360 quailty to me.

Wouldn't it be possible for Nintendo to create memory cards with gigs of space on them?

I'm sure this could possilbely settle the harddrive issue and large memory cards seem just way more "nintendo-y" (for a lack of a better wording).

large memory cards could work because wii DLC would probably be smaller than PS3 or 360's right?(I have no idea how much larger (if that) 360/PS3 DLC is)

Memory cards like that already exist, and the Wii already has a slot for them, Nintendo just won't allow them to be used in that way.

I'm well aware of SD cards, but I'm speaking on cards that are specifically made for the wii.

Remember guys, this is still just a indepently published product.  The quality could go in even higher if they recieve more money from a publisher and such.

Also, I could have sworn nintendo once said something about "helping out smaller developers" or something to that extent.  What happened to that idea?

It seems to be still going on, give the podcast a listen, it talks about the Blob game being developed by two random guys! 0_0

to bad my internet refuses to make anykind of noise at all, or I would.

I'm currently playing Battalion Wars and it's a lot of fun, though fairly challenging too.  The aspect of online co-op and multiplayer(which is something BW needed) added to the mix is more than enough reason for me to shell out 50 bucks for the title.  Does anyone know if BWii is a launch title?

I'd love to Hector or Lynn appear from the first Fire Emblem game. Although he isn't Nintendo exclusive, I think the ninja from I-Ninja would be perfect for the game(he may just have a slight chance, considering Snake got into the game).  And some of the bounty hunters from MP: Hunters are bound to get in.

Jump Superstars wasn't even a runner up for best port?  Conspiracy I say, conspiracy!

I wasn't completely shock by anything, other than best port winner(Yes, I own JSS).  I was also more impressed by the visuals in Nintendogs than Mario Kart...but Mario Kart is funner.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the francise.  KKvG is such a fun film to watch, though I've only seen the westernized verson.

Advance Wars?

If you're going with touch screen experience, I would go with Meteos.  Much multiplayer fun to had there.

Advance Wars is an excellent multiplayer game, but I find the standard controls much more perferable.

Just my opinion, but it's whatever floates your boat.

This film f'n rocked.  The characters were so well written and likable.  ZOMG, IT PWNED.

I will say it was better than a certain other Sci-fi film that I will not name.
