It's nice to see some more footage, but I have to wonder why they only updated the visuals to a small extend.  AC has an awesome art style, but new hardware should equal a step up graphically (for most nintendo games that is).

Other than that, I really don't have any complaints against the game.  It still has the animal crossing "formula", which is oddly addicting.  And wiispeak with my friends will be fun none-the-less.

well damn, I just shelled out 900 wii points for King of the Monsters.  Oh well, the game is really fun (but shallow).

i seriously want a 16 on 16 type battalion wars, less focus on the strategy, more focus on simply running around in those big goofy shoes and shooting each other.

that is all.

So you want something like the Star wars: Battlefront series?

I could probably dig that, but it would sacrifice the game's identity. (although the strategy is very light in the game)

3 player online(optional co-op) with wiispeak, TEH JIZ MAN, TEH JIZ.

That'd be a little tricky cause it might overrule the other players decisions.  But you could always give each player control of specific units.  One gets infantry, on gets heavy weaponry (tanks, artillery) and one gets aircraft/naval.

I would also love to see like 2/3/4 v 2/3/4 player battles.

DAaaMan64, do you know the sales figures for the game? (i'm just curious)

I think Nintendo barely even advertised this game.  Sad, because a third game with a more robust online and wiispeak would be awesome.

One of my personal favorite more recent Nintendo francises.

Personally, Battalion Wars 1 was  a helluva game.  Even without multiplayer, it was still a blast to play.

BWii, finally impelmented multiplayer, but did use it to it's full extend. BWii is definately the better of the two, IMO, but the developers made somethings a little more awkward.  I'm mainly talking about the aircraft controls, they just felt never quite right to me, but they're servicable and far from ruining anything.  I alway wish the online was a little more robust, with allowing more than just two players.

any opinions of these games?

i don't care how silly a game is, just as long it turns out to be fun to play.

Well this brings back a little hope.  I think we'll deffinately hear something good at the TGS.  If not, then we can panic.

who wants to wear a headset when you're waving your body parts all around or trying to keep on a board?

not me.

Well, we still got the Tokyo Game Show  and anything can happen there.

Thoughts?  Would anyone prefer headsets?

I like the hardware, i'm just not crazy over it.  I have heard it has pretty great audio quality so, that's good.  It'll also save money on multiple headsets.  Hopefully this will be somehow used in older titles like Brawl, Kart and BWii.

Games like Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 need this kind of thing on wii.

And I agree with KDR, I freaked out when they weren't the Miis in the beginning...

I was relieved. I think making you use the miis by default will take some of the personality out of the game.

Dead Rising for the 360 was pretty awesome.   I have no idea how the wii handle so many enemies on screen at one time, but this awesome sounding none-the-less.

atleast other companies are giving us our core games.

893
The voice chat Wii Speak is exciting.  Atleast we finally have voice chat....

Animal Crossing is going to be sh*t though.

Wii Music and Wii Sports Resort look fun, but I still my "core" games!  And what about the storage solution?

Ugh, I just hope they some private screenings that might show their core games, if any.  Like they did brawl last year.

Atleast we have The Conduit...

hmm... maybe the motionplus attach might double as a doogle for a wireless nunchuck.  I dunno, just a guess.  We will find out in about 90 minutes.

This is cool.  But I do hope Nintendo makes a Wiimote 2.0 or something that already has this built into the hardware.  They have to.  How will the wiimote fit in the zapper (if anybody uses it :P)?

Too bad the prime trilogy is over now. :/

896
I hope, just hope, that maybe the HVS will annouce a publisher for The Conduit.  If it happens to be nintendo (which would be a double edge sword situation IMO), I bet they may just get some coverage in their conference.

897
For punch out, if they have any sort of online multiplayer, I hope they have create a boxer or something along those lines to make our character unique.  Hell, maybe even putting your mii's face on the boxer's body.

As long as you can easily communicate with your friends on animal crossing I'll be perfectly happy.

898
Since so many cross overs are popping up...

MARIOKART VS. GRAN TURISMO should be annouced this year.

899
The Conduit, duh, i'm excited to hear how well this thing plays and if it might have loading screens longer than an evolutionary period.  And hopefully more details about their online system (settings, voice chat please)

Kid Icarus be a platformer based around some heavy action.

Pikmin 3 with a little more RTS feel to it.

New(not as in the DS game, but a new game) Mario Bros. game for wiiware with new levels as DLC

Bigger SD support with Nintendo issuing their own larger SD cards.

animal crossing wii. durrr.

Some "snow ball chances in hell" one's for fun:
Star Fox MMO - sounds weird, but I would love this idea.

Nintendo Rock Hero

Nintendo to release a patch or something via wiiware to fix brawl's online.

Reggie not giving an awesome speech.
