General Chat / Re: I hate iTunes
« on: April 06, 2010, 11:40:48 PM »
Never had a problem with Itunes myself.  Apple even gave me back all of my paid stuff without any question when my harddrive crashed.

I was pretty terrified about losing my Prince and David Bowie albums.

Yeah, Sony's giving it Walkman support.

Here's my expectations:
-Two Screens lol
-D-pad and Analog stick
-4 face buttons, two shoulder
-Gamecube-like graphics
-3D lolololol
-Miyamoto's carrot and stick system: Mario Stars or Coins (similar to gamerscore and trophies)
-Sensible online conductivity. I don't want the world, just something better.
-3G maybe?
-Open pricing system.  It seems like the only apps not worth the two bucks are the nintendo -made ones.
-Pressure Screen
-not a slow as balls online store
-TRANSFER OF DSIWARE!

I haven't seen it. But If I find it before you do, it will be posted in here.

Thanks man.

Nice mock up, I have to say.  But the guy needs to improve his shadowing and lighting skills before it looks like a believable prototype.  Looks like it would be very uncomfortable to hold.

Oh and a nipple for sexy time.

A couple sites are saying that Sharp announced today that they said their tech will be used on the 3DS, but I keep looking at the press release and see no mention of Nintendo.  Am I missing it?

Clash of the Titans 3Dmake.  Kind of dumb, kind of entertaining.  A lot of the designs of thingies were cool but I felt like it wasn't executed well enough to be completely engaging.

I give it 6D out of 10D.  Meh.

Actually, go here for a better idea of what they're thinking.  No, it's not an April Fools joke.

I'm sorry, but I read about 1/2 of that and Apple is crazy if they think everyone is gonna have 20 different shells and hubs to plug their iPhone/Ipod Touch into so that it can be whatever I want it to be.

I would need a cabinet full of attachments and a room house full of Apple products. Not gonna happen.

Well, if the Apple hardcore is like the Nintendo hardcore they already have a cabinet full of Apple products they don't use anymore because they've upgraded to the new yearly interations.  Which there are plenty of Apple Hardcore (I have friends who are) buy the new editions every year.

The greens in Northrend are way better than blues elsewhere, right?  That's what I hear.

I've only been able to play in northrend for a little while, but that's how it seems so far.

I have to agree.  Northerend isn't really that exciting, aside from the mind numbingly easy quest at first that make you level like crazy.  At least it looks like cataclysm will stir things up again.

I thought itunes were already in AAC format?  I've never had to covert them when wanting to play them on the DS.

Nobody reads the front page. Not even you.

NWR has a front page?

I don't get what's so addictive about MMOs.

Oh boy, I can waste hours of my life repetitively mashing buttons so I can get the same set of armor as half the people my level. Oh yeah, and not to mention the hours wasted mashing buttons just so you can GET to that meaningless level.

And in the particular case of WoW, none of it even matters in-game because the whole game is stupid kinds of easy.

I think that can be said about quite a few games, Call of Duty comes to mind in particular.  I like it because of the social aspect, kind of like xbox live.  It's really easy to communicate with other players and it's fun to play in groups.  But to each his own.

It's an April fools joke.

After a year of trying not to play the game (my brother plays it a lot), I caved.  Very addicting.  Still just with my first character; a level 67 undead warlock.  Anybody else play?  If you play on the Draka server let me know.

91
wow. that's cool.  I submit to your will BnM, you called it.

Hopefully this isn't an April Fools joke...

Do we need to make wii motes 93% bigger?  Iwata is asking.

You know what would be cool with  New Super Mario Bros. game and the 3D tech?

If you could tilt the 3DS and find secert areas that way.  Like a new tunnel hidden by a grounded pow box.

DAMNIT SPINNZILLA!

Now I'm going to have to read another 10 posts of TJ Spyke arguing with everyone about the legitimacy of VG Chartz.

Why do you hate me so?

NEVERMIND PEOPLE. I'll edit my post.

I'm sorry, I love you.

Nice :)

But no...

That's the ugliest first post about a game I've seen in a long time.

It was just a quick copy and paste.  I'm in the middle of WoW!

But if BnM wants, he can create his own and we can delete this.  No big deal to me. I'll probably be too lazy to update it.

Though High Voltage isn't ready to spill the beans about specific[online] modes just yet, the studio promises a bevy of new gameplay types, as well as the return of the first game's innovative Bounty Hunter mode.

As you might expect, weapons like the Vortex Cannon will add a few wrinkles to online competition, as will the introduction of different character classes, each with unique attributes. You'll also be able to unlock suit upgrades that bestow your character with special skills; robotic legs, for example, will let you sprint greater distances."

"Right now, the plan is to have one primary suit slot and two secondary slots where you can equip upgrades, but that may change in the final game. From a purely cosmetic standpoint, you'll have tons of options to change your character's appearance using the same modular system the team uses to diversify enemies. For those who prefer to keep their gun fights local, Conduit 2 will feature a two-to four-player splitscreen option for all of the game's competitive modes.

And when you want to take a break from blasting your friends and loved ones, you can team up with them in the new co-op Invasion mode. Up to four players can join forces (either via splitscreen or online), and the challenges they'll face are unique to this mode. Further details remain under wraps, but we always welcome the chance to eradicate some alien scum with our fellow humans."

"Their first order of business: expanding the game's scope, "In the first Conduit, I think the core experience is very sold," says producer Josh Olson."

- ASE returns
- set in Atlantis
- SEGA publishing
- Huge boss battles
- old/new weapons

Sounds like they're adding a lot of stuff people wanted in the first.  At least they're trying. :P: :
