Nintendo Gaming / Futurama yay or ney?

well i am confused, in IGN's mailbag futurama is proclaimed not to be receiveing the gamecube treatment to maximise proffits (ie its going to go on PS2 and xbawx only because of their american/canadian user bases) but nintendo australia has news reguarding futurama that its indeed comeing out next month..

Futurama coming out?

this has lead me (and some of my fellow aussies) to ponder that perhaps it wont be released on NTSC gamecubes but just PAL (doubt it will have a japanese release). interesting and confusing no?

does anyone remember a game called EVO the search for eden (i think that was its full name), it was on the SNES (and maybe mega drive i dont know), anyway you start out as a prehistoric fish and you progress through the game evolveing into new spiecies. i never finnished it but it was an awsome game. 1 i would love a remake/sequel of this game, but if there isn't does anyone know of any games similar to this out or coming out this generation?

i just got the first moon crystal and now i have to fight the red gigas, and i cant seem todo it :\ i last about 3 rounds before it obliterates me, the captain tells me to concentrate my fire before it hits me but i dont know how todo that.

is anyone else excited about this game? the concept behind it is awsome in my books, despite the fact ill have to leave my cave to play it i hope more developers use the GBA to test strange concepts in games that would be too risky on the other platforms

i know this is probably way too early to ask, but how do the console specific characters stack up againsed each other, after reading the PGC's reveiw of SC2, and reading that link isn't exactly a sterling character, im wondering if the other ones (Spawn? and er.. that tekken guy?) are somewhat the same. which would lead me to belive that they are there for hype/self advertising purposes, hey i would have gotten SC2 reguardless so i dont really mind that link isn't that great. im just curious

i figure most people in here wouldn't have had a chance to play gamecube soul calibur yet, let alone ps2/xbox versions, so i guess this is mostly aimed at the PGC staff.

i write this as my lvl 13 ralts defeats a lvl 7 zubat, anyway, i got this game thursday, and not untill friday night could i give it a good playing, and omg this game... something about it its just so brilliant! ive played all pokemons (except yellow and crystal) and this without a doubt is my favorite, when i bought it i figured "hrm this will be pretty good i spose" when i started playing it ive been like this is awsome! something about hardly seeing a familiar pokemon, its like a totally new adventure into the unknown.. anyway, back to my training got my second gym leader to beat!

whats everyone else's oppions on it?

i apologize for the topic, im sick of the thought of another nintendo should advertise more etc thread, but like this is diferent i was wondering if any of you have ever rang up a nintendo HQ and got some posters/cut outs from them (not old ones) cause when i went out shopping today i saw a 6 foot tall Samus cut out and i want to get my hands on one i allready have alot of Gamecube style posters (official advertising ones, from when mum went to nintendo of Aus. HQ in melbourne) but they were pretty old ones when she got them.

basically my question is this, have any of you gotten posters/cut outs of current/soon to be released games?

this samus one looked rrrreally good

ive been sitting here for like the last hour or two staring blankly at the un activity here on the PGC forums, and i for one blame nintendo!! the NTSCers have Zelda, the europeans have just recieved Metroid Prime, and us australians (im talking to Mario on MSN as we speak) are left here waiting and wanting.

but relife IS at hand, and that hand is only a week away in the shape of Metroid Prime and Pokemon R/S, hooray

does anyone know anything about this game? i learnt about it from a link mario gave me to infrogram's site (to find the skys of arcadia release date for australia) and its of a dieing breed of games the "topdown shoot em up" (think swiv, gigawing etc) i went to check it out on pgc, but they haven't done a reveiw for it yet, just wondering if anyones read anything about it, the tiny bit i have seen attracts me quite a bit

omg my ocarina of time soundtrack came today from ebay (stupid america being so far away) but OMG does this take me back this is my new favorite cd (sorry chronotrigger soundtrack) kojo kondi (hrm... think i have that wrong) is a god

all you zelda fans go to ebay now and get your self a copy!! mine was $10 US buy it now, well worth it /me is typeing listening to the "shop" music

i dont really think there would be, not too many aussie developers and we arn't exactly a huge region of gameing in comparison to US/Japan, but it would be nice if we had one say in sydney or brisbane etc.

or even any large gameing meet of some description (not lans ) please someone inform me
