Nintendo Gaming / Worms 3d, a dilemma

I have a problem, both the PC and Gamecube version of worms 3d comes out soon, the GCN version this friday, and the PC version a week or two afterwards, now the trouble is, i don't know which version to get, the GCN version is $70 and the PC version is $50, now i don't know much about the game, so i was hoping if someone could answer some questions for me. namely, does the PC version have an online option, and is it worth it (its worms, multiplayer is its stong point, so im assuming it would be) and two are the versions relativly identical, i kinda want it for gamecube, because i play more games on that while i'm using the net and stuff, so it would be a conveniance there.. but then PC version is $20 cheeper.. damn dilemma

 i like stupid/pointless/hilarious flashes, i figured atleast 4.3 other people here would, its time to share things! basically im after obscure stuff that pretty much no-one knows about, ie no Mario Twins no AYB nothing from newgrounds, as we all have probably seen them, some adnausium, anyway here goes with my first three discoveries

oooohkay, i have a dodgy old 233 that i want to turn into something usefull, namely 1) a gateway for my home lan, and 2) a linux IRC server, i know vaugly how todo #1 but given it doesn't have USB ports and i dont know how to get the ethernet connection to the internet working im sort of stuck, but #2 i have absolutely no idea.

anyone want to help?

OH MY GOD! this movie was fking AWSOME! its shot strait up to being one of my favorite movies of all time.  Johnny Depp was absolutely stunning as Captain Jack Sparrow, Geoffery Rush was brilliant as the Ghost Pirate LeChuck... i mean Barberosa. being such a huge Monkey Island (tm) fan that i am it made the movie all the more special, there were that many subtle Monkey Island references i was laughing and saying stuff to dad almost the entire time, its brilliant. i HIGHLY recomend everyone go see it, i know ill be getting the DVD as soon as its out

i give it nine thumbs up!

well not that crazy, but anyway.

how hard and what would be the likelyhood of you guys (well rick i guess) coding in a set of say 20-30 user titles (like you guys have, VIP, Staff Writer, etc) and letting people vote for the one that best suits other people, for example one of the options could be 'insane' and we could all vote that one for Infernal Monkey (read his posts ;P)

have you fine gentlemen considered making new T-Shirt designs to add to your store? im sure your probably very busy, and such a thing would probably be a low prioritory, but i wouldn't mind getting some more PGC shirts, perhaps some that capture special PGC moments? i rove pranetgamecube? Wario says to Planet GameCube, "Have a rotten day! I hate you!" *thppppppt*(this one would probably be impossible due to copywrite infringement laws etc) or have some of the artisitc staff members draw up some funky designs and use them

either way i want to buy more shirts

has anyone else here ever been blessed with owning one of these glorious machines? we got ours when it launched in 1987 (i was 2, suffice to say me playing it didn't come till a few years after) my earliest memories are of the amiga ^_^ now THATS what i call a childhood! i used to watch dad playing Faery Tale Adventure and Dungeon Master, and then attempt to play them my self, only to fail miserably it was this machine that lead me to my great gaming love of Monkey Island (tm) and point and click adventures in general. i hope there are some fellow Amiga fanboys/girls on this forum (i assume there might be a couple given the ages of some of the people here)

okay, for all the people that are smarter than me out there, i have a dream, an idea, a notion.

would it be possible to make the GBA online using some sort of tunneling feature. a way of having cable (say USB) that plugs into your EXP. port on your gba/sp/gbp and using software of some description, connect to another gameboy. i cant seem to write this very articulately but thats my idea at any rate. i dont exactly know how the link function on GBA works, and it probably makes this sort of posibility absolutely impossible, but the idea is there!

would be awsome for pokemon tradeing/battleing

General Gaming / i just bought a Master System!

i sure did, from a pawn shop with 6 games (and sonic built into the console) for $20 hehhe its fun in a crappy sort of way. given its age its not exactly easy to find game reveiws for it, so could someone direct me to some good games for it? i want Phantsy star (as recomended by some guy on the net) but other than that i dont really know what games to hunt down off ebay for it. also if your going to suggest some games could you tell me a bit about them rather than just say "sonic" for example, cause that doesn't really help me ;P also check my sig (planet piac's games) to see the ones i allready have.

did anyone know there is a remake of the original Castlevania on GBA? i sure didn't but i was out shopping today and saw it for $20 (i actually got it for $16 cause it was 20% off everything) so i grabbed it! its well fun, and i went to add it to my IGN gamelist and.. it aparently doesn't exist, i checked the PGC games just now, same deal, its not there. im rather confused now, anyone care to shed some light on the subject?
