« on: October 28, 2007, 04:09:51 PM »
Well here's some more proof if you don't believe that it is coming out for the Wii.

http://kotaku.com/gaming/confirmed/its-official-spore-coming-to-the-wii-315961.php

Whoops looks like someone already posted this info on another topic, this is what happens when I haven't been on the forums in forever....

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Zack & Wiki: Buy it! (If you can find it...)
« on: October 28, 2007, 03:42:40 PM »
OMG the title to this topic is too true.....I've been to 2 Walmarts, Target, and a Bestbuy since the game's release date.  I called earlier this morning to find out that a Gamestop about 10 miles from me has a few.  I would have gotten it today but I was lazy and went to my local Bestbuy and bought Guitar Hero 3.  When I get off work tomorrow I'll pick up Zack & Wiki though.

well it's at least nice to know that they are going to put a lot more effort into De Blob and Destroy All Humans.  I can't wait to see De Blob in my hands as well as Destroy All Humans.

I feel sorry for the guys and gals that have to test games like those, oh and for the unsuspecting children that end up having these games bought for them by their parents.

I remember a concept that sounded exactly the same when the DS was about to come out.  I wonder if this is what came of it.

could we see a Nintendo Action set?  Wii + Zapper?  I'd rather see a Guitar Hero Bundle but that ain't gonna come from Nintendo.

I don't like this move one bit.....I've noticed retail exclusives tend to b1ow.  I liked the original but I'm going to have to wait for the reviews on this one.  As for UncleBob's pic, How did Chibi Robo come out on top of Halo 3, lol.

(opens first link).......drools!
(opens second link)......pukes

putting aside that one particular character aside I'd definitely buy this game.  I'm sure someone out there realizes this will be a good sell to America and publish it here, most likely Atlus.  Unless for some reason they drop the ball and NIS picks it up.

for once i don't wanna play as the main character that wields a sword, gimmie the chick with da guns!  Sure guns don't seem to fit the setting but who cares it's d@mn cool looking to do combo attacks with 2 pistols.

Namco if your listening, the U.S. Wants.....no NEEDS this game, oh and don't pull any stupid stuff and release it on the PSP.

TalkBack / RE: Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution - Gameplay Video
« on: August 29, 2007, 06:56:36 PM »
I'm in the same boat as Mashiro, the Japanese versions of Naruto has a lot of voice/audio clips in battle.  It seems like the American version is even missing other essential sounds such as the flames coming out of sasuke's mouth.  Just listening to the audio in the video it seems like 1/3 of the audio clips are missing.

However I know a few ppl at work that got to go to Pax (representing our company) and one of them got to play Naruto, he told me it was strange at first to play with motion controls but you get used to it, and the motion controls are a nice addition to using the character's specials/finish moves.  I haven't got a chance to really sit down and talk to him about it though.....

I'm still unsure of getting it when it comes out though, as I have Naruto 3 with everything unlocked and for me to buy that game to unlock everything again seems pointless.

This game is rather fun, and the voice acting, when it is used, is actually rather good.

Con:
Stylus control is very broken feeling, selecting a target is very hit or miss and sometimes you can tap on your target all over it and it won't be selected unless you hit the ground tile under the target, and sometimes it's exactly the other way around (hit the ground and it won't select your target unless you hit the target someone on it's body).

You can't use a mix of button use and stylus use in battle, can only use one or the other, and must be set in options for either stylus or buttons.

Actually you can press select at any time to switch to buttons or left or right handed stylus control.  Sure we shouldn't have to press select to do this but at least its there.

I find the Stylus control passable, it's not what I would call broken.  I only notice the "missed touch screen taps" when the spot i want to touch is surrounded by a few characters or something like that.

I've yet to try online but as soon as my friend gets it, we'll be trying it really soon.  Oh and I love how much voice acting is in this game, complete surprise to me how much voicing is in this game.

TalkBack / RE: REVIEWS: Madden NFL 08
« on: August 20, 2007, 06:58:36 PM »
I haven't really played a football game since NFL 2k5 and before that Madden 2002, but I picked this one up and I'm glad i did.  So far it's been a blast, especially with multiplayer.  The graphics aren't......well lets just say they are last gen, but the gameplay is so great.  If you can get past the occasional zooming out screen blur, and auto pass (personally i think it has to do with motioning the wii mote up and then down on accident) you should have a good time.  It's nothing compared to All-Pro Football, at work we played it during our breaks for a week and we've seen a few games crash among other glitches.

All this Guitar Hero popularity makes me wish Nintendo would make another Daigasso! Band Brothers game, even if they don't release them in the U.S. I would just import it.  Heck give me another expansion cartridge.

Do not get side tracked playing the mini games, i.e the competition rooms, the Underground, and hook up with somebody online to evolve some of your pokemon such as Kadabra into Alakazam.  Oh and don't go crazy and catch every new pokemon you see, a lot of them are filler.

if it wasn't for my job i'd start up my Pokemon Tournament again because of this story.....even if thatguy would just pound me

I think every match I had on the NWR Pokemon Tournaments ended with a "good game", or "that was close".

i gotta say this new pokemon game rocks multiplayer.  Oh and 18 Days, I hope they gave you some kind of award like best match.

My personal favorite match is still against Shecky.  First match we were in doubles and left with 2 pokemon each.  Both his guys were about to die while mine were both at a high health.  He decided to force a draw by exploding.  In the rematch i ended the battle with my Lopunny using endure while my Golem using explosion.  Sweet sweet revenge

His following match however he pulled in a Gengar and all i could do was hang on to dear life hoping confusion would kill him.  I got pretty close for a team that couldn't directly hurt a ghost type.
