Did I just get insulted by someone who plays gotham2 online?  Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot I was playing doom online before you had the internet.

Anyway, I don't think xbox live is so bad, I just don't think it's all that great.  I don't think you should force people to pay for games online, I think that there are people out there who like to have more control of how much they pay in their hands, not in the hands of a company who dictates everything.  I mean I pay around 15 bucks a month for the games I play online .

I understand why a game like everquest has a monthly fee, it costs a whole lot of money to keep it online.  But you couldn't force me to pay for a game like gotham 2 when the game is hosted off of my hardware to find someone to play the game.  I mean let's be honest here, this is a standard service for almost all online PC games.  A server list is introduced, and there are countless services for you and your friends to use to see each other.

Talking on xbox games?  Where do you think voice over IP started?  VoIP has been on pc for several years now, it's nothing new to me, and it's nothing all that special.

Either way, I was on xbox live a year ago, had some fun with it, decided not to resubscribe?  Does that mean I am not a hardcore online gamer?  Hardly.  That statement is on the lines of intelligence as saying your not a hardcore gamer unless you own every console in existence and buy every add on that came to it.  Somethings aren't worth it to a lot of people, and that doesn't mean a lot in the long run.

Tell ya what though, you keep playing gotham2 online,

I will keep playing C&C, CoD, MOH:AA, UT2004, Halo, Mario Kart, Diablo 2, Starcraft, Warcraft, a nice long list of games.  I could keep going a long time, but why bother?  You have already made up your mind and I doubt intelligent arguements will unmake it.

Erm, have you read half my posts?  I am the biggest online gamer on this forum.  I play PC games, you know the versions that get downgraded and sent to xbox?  Really you didn't read any posts and just posted that?  Okay.

Lets think about this.  Let's say konami had 120 songs.  Each was a 50MB .wav file.  Thats 800MB.  They could literally put the entire ddr library on cube and still barely have to compress.  The whole space arguement is just stupid.

According to an artricle on the inquirer, Microsoft will charge 5 british pounds for xbox live, per month.  That is up from 40 pounds a year.  So looks like xbox live in the US will be costing around 70 dollars a year now, maybe more. Ouch.

Well if any of those games where even playable you might have a point, but since no one has really seen them, it's like saying a game from a pretty much unkown source is going to sell; oh wait, that is what you are saying.

Heh, mario was for cd-i and we all know how much nintendo supported it.  My point on this is n-gage has so far left a very sour taste on almost every person's tongue.  It's going to take more than your opinion to change that.

Off topic, but did anyone see in pcworld that the zodiac somehow beat out the gameboy.  The name of the thing was best handheld game player, and the zodiac won, because "it has the functions of a pda." Yet, at the same time they downplay the gameboy's emence library, but I forgot, this was only a handheld GAME player review, games are irrelevant.

I never really get the whole unhealthy arguement.  Follow a diet, excorcise, your fine.

My resting heart rate is 51, I eat a bunch of crap all day, but I do run long distance.  Makes all the difference.

Bill, I take a pill that is basically a high dosage of caffeine, the pill burns my energy so fast that I am tired the rest of the day.  The only withdrawal I get is actually being active.  (By the way, if caffeine is addictive, I can only say it is in low ammounts, because there is no way anyone willingly wants that crap)

I think this is blurring the line between what is addictive, being awake or being addicted.

I take several pills for migraines, before I only took one.  As time has gone by my bloodstream has lost the effect of some of them, and I have been switched off.  Am I addicted to the pill because if I don't take it I run the risk of severe migraines or so I can have a full head to study?  Under what you said in thsoe studies I am addicted.  Oh well, I guess I am taking it out of context because obviously scientific studies can't be wrong, right?)

Oh yes, I went to the foundation for all freedom and found a very funny symbolism.  heroine addict to someone who likes sweets.  So obviously my example can't be too far off, I mean you quoted them not me.

"Chocolate bars are loaded with salt, sugar, caffeine and fat, up to 300 calories per bar. Like a body that demands heroin for its balance, the body will crave sugar, salt and fat. Take candy from a sugar junkie, and look out! Quitting causes withdrawals. Remove sugar, processed fat or salt from your diet, and you will crave them. You will go through the discomfort of facing withdrawal similar to the withdrawal from drugs."

Look, take a Human Geography class, you will go into this more than you want to.

How is caffeine addictive?  Give me one study that cloncluded it was.  People take caffeine for the energy boost, it's not like you see people popping drinks in the corner to get their dose.

Plants are selectively breed so that they can no longer live without us, if humans weren't controlling them they would die.  How is that different from animals that are done basically the same way.

Give me a break about cows, having family that raises cows, I know a lot of that is BS, for the US anyway.  Cow juice is traded, they want the best of the breed in their cows.  These cows aren't dying of diseases, they are dying of having a metal rod shot into their head.

Really though, the FDA got their panties in a bunch because some salmon has too much of something that could lead to cancer, with very little proof to show.  If beef was somehow very dangerous, believe me you would hear about it much faster.

The book implied that it was happening at that very moment, stalin was already dead/quite on his way, so that was pretty much void after ww2. And no, the world did not end, so that would be more stuff...

Anyway, I don't think its a fair statement to say conspiracy theory crap n reply to someone asking whats in meat.  Are there chemicals?  yes.  Do they harm you?  probablly not

Not even worth it to me.  You can buy a bunch of Athlon 2100+ systems for around 115 dollars each.  Seen a bunch of folding at home guys do that.  These guys say thats a reason, but in reality they are just looking to show off.

Somehow quoting a book that the very guy  who wrote it said was more of a warning than a reality is not a good answer to me.

Well in general blockbuster has just stopped buying a lot of games.  I see mostly games that had been there for atleast the better part of a year, so to me it's all kind of a waste to call this a boycott of nintendo.  It's just a boycott of good business sense.
