Nintendo Gaming / So what about soccer slam and beach spikers
« on: March 26, 2003, 01:51:57 AM »
soccer slam was a fun game baised of the virtua striker engine
It proberly will see a squeal on gamecube, as this game is more aimed at the younger audience, and I dont think microsoft would want to spend big money on the rights to a younger audience game.
I think beach stikers will stay also, since ps2 already has DOA volleyball game. and im sure M$ has already payed of a company to make a clone

ONLY cause of the SAMMY meger, and SAMMY MAKES ALL THERE GAMES ON PS2!
geez dumb morons, and that interview was for vitual fighter... and thats on PS2.....I wonder why he would talk sony related things.....hmmmmm maybe cause he relized PS2 owners would be reading it and not Gamecube owners
geez

I own 4 games from nintendo, all up I own 13 games
another 3 of them are from sega
I buy wantever looks good, I think the most under-rated game is largo winch..
most nintendo sites dont even have reviews of the game
timesplitters was hyped by fanboy sites before it was released, i found the game boring after the first time finishing it
I dont know why ppl think its under-rated, quality on the game is high, but gameplay has been done before....its a bore

Nintendo Gaming / Dance dance revolution
« on: March 23, 2003, 01:59:07 AM »
diet diet revolution is one winamp plugin, which works on dwi files if i remember correctly.
I stopped playing on winamp after i got some gameboy ddr/dance mania roms.
im not sure what it was called, im going down to the city this saturday night, so ill pop in for a while and check.

anyway im guessing sony have bought the rights, since after ddr3... no other games came out on gameboy
and the only other games i can think of is the playstation versions and the 1 hawaii/usa PC game

isnt britneys dance beat coming to gc also soon? it a dancing game but a sad one at that

They have it in the city (tilt), its just a Pad (kinda like ddr's but alot cheaper) and a big screen with some lights on the side and the speakers, which again arnt super great. the base under the screen must be were the chips are...
its go one foot stamping part in the middle and the rest in the corners.. the machine has a big sega sticker on it, the music on it I have never heard before, pretty much noname people.
Its 1dollar coin operated compared with the 2dollar DDR machines
Im not sure if its still there, they keep swapping and modding them, the whole back part were the machines is full of ddr clan tags, which really sucks

anyway there are some winamp pugins which are pretty good, which simulate DDR.

Target in Australia use to sell Wireless Controls for Nintendo 64, they were 100 Australian
they were cheap plastic type 3rd brand controls.....
I noticed the store near me got 5 in, toke 3-4 months for them all to sell, they never got anymore in...
there are always people who will pay alot of money for stuff... no matter what it looks like

I wouldnt think so, Mario cart and other games played on 2 GBA's have no lag
the Link cable most produce over the speed of 6k/sec
because iv you have ever played mario cart or anyother games online using something like zsnes (emulated) u know u still get lag even at 4k/sec

Nintendo Gaming / More FF Games Coming ...?
« on: March 17, 2003, 01:03:59 AM »
This is as stupid as the FF7-2 rumor
u could buy ff7, ff7, ff9 on PSX,  just 1year ago in stores
my friend bought ff8 for 12bucks (aus dollars) just 8months ago.

they wouldnt port a game after not even 1 year off it going off the market.
anyway the snes remakes on PSX were crap, all they were was emulated rom with 5 new fmv's on each game
I dont want PSX graphics on my gamecube, esp if there gonna make me pay full price, since u can get the psx versions for 10bucks each 2nd hand

U can buy DDR in USA for windows, just go to a local store and ask them to get it
anyway PS2 in japan only has just got DDR6....when DDR8 is out in arcades
the music is already 2years old on the ps2 version

Sega also have there own DDR machine, u have more luck getting them to port it over
Its one of those annoying 5 step ones thu, its called dance rave or something like that

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda Promo Disc For Australia!
« on: March 14, 2003, 03:47:08 AM »
Nintendo Australia are now Hyping Metroid Prime and have preorders posters and cardboard fake boxes
how do they expect people to preorder metroid, when they release this info
seems like a bad idea to me
anyway ill be preordering both, since i saved money for PSO but it still aint out

Nintendo Gaming / P.N. 03 & Soul Calibur 2 scores
« on: March 13, 2003, 06:17:15 PM »
remember all GC games so for which have been fighting games havnt really got in the 9-10 area
most magazines punish the score because of the control set up.
im sure the xbox and ps2 version wll get higher scores in most of the mags, just cause of the gaint (a) button

« on: March 10, 2003, 06:04:17 AM »

even if it was metal gear 1,2 and metal gear solid on a CD, still would buy it

Nintendo Gaming / Pokemon 3d online rpg?
« on: March 10, 2003, 05:51:01 AM »
again i see people with pointless arguements
FFXI Just shows you, that a user base doesnt mean a game is gonna sell like hot cakes
which was a 3d online rpg, trying to live of the success of FF.

The new game will proberly be a Stadium game, like stated by ign. using the new digimon looking pokemon in pointless and non-realistic battles like the 64 version
If it had a feature, so that you didnt need a Pokemon transfer would be good, Like a built in Pokemon red/blue rom, which u could play. would be cool

Nintendo Gaming / Wario World likely to suck?
« on: March 08, 2003, 09:51:29 PM »
shut up, dont buy it if u dont like wario
iv liked wario since the first gb game
no.4 was a master peice for gba
and how was Dreamcast better? only decent 3D action games on that were sonic Ad 1 and 2 and they were bi liner
im sure wario world will pick up from the mistakes that mario sunshine made

Nintendo Gaming / Metroid Prime - PAL Enhancements
« on: March 08, 2003, 04:18:23 AM »
I wasnt going to use the hint system first time i finished it
so now im guessing its going to even harder to finish, with my damaging lava and less power ups
since i see on gamefaqs.com with all the kids complaining now short it was, when they mostly all used hints
I want a challenge, but seems silly to make it harder

Nintendo Gaming / no pso this friday for Australia?
« on: March 05, 2003, 05:32:13 AM »
I went to the local gamemania, the last few days, well everyday this week
they still havnt got confermation (spelling eek) that pso will be shipped this friday or at all
same goes for the moderms
Its still on there offical release dates from nintendo
I am hoping that this is a South Australia thing, for the rest of the ppl in aus
hopefully it wont be the same thing as mario sunshine
After me driving around all day looking for mario sunshine on the release date, and every shop saying they have no idea, why they didnt get it after all the promo posters naming that day.
