I have been following Contact for awhile, and indeed the settings and backgrounds do look gorgeous, but the character sprites look meh to me.   I personally cant wait for Lost Magic.  Studio Ghibli is designing all of the characters and doing animated cutscenes.

Well it just got released in japan a week ago, and considering its a hefty big title with lots of voice work by some serious star talent, I am thinkin summer to end of this year ::Sigh::

Its been said before, when Noramura wanted to begin the development of the first title he wanted to put it on the Gamecube, but then everyone said "OH because Disney is for teh k1ddiez LOL IN YO FACE NINTENDO" or somethin along those lines. so he basically got mad and said "This game is not going to be tiku tiku tiku! , I am gonna make Disney look mature and aim for a higher  age group"  So basically Nintendo's k1ddie look just took it away.

I liked Kingdom Chain of Memories, I found it highly entertaining and a great filler between the two games.  I am more appreciative that they thought of Nintendo in the first place.  Maybe we will see a filler game on the Ds while the next chapter is in the works who knows.

DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT.  The video was stunning and beautiful.  I was surprised at how much Chain of Memories stuff they added in it, very very nice.   I am not sure at how many of you liked the first, but I am a hopless fanboy.  I rank the original up as one of my fav games along Zelda.

Well before I quit Toys R us since its launch, we recieved 3 shipments of Animal Crossing, all 3 sold out.  Same with  the Xbox 360's we actually did get a second shipment of them after launch but was told only to bundle them for 800 dollars by corporate.  As far as Nintendogs go, we had a good supply of all 3 versions.

Lol i did the math and .................

50 dollars for  LOZTP
50 dollars for SSBO
30 dollars for extra controller
20 dollars for memory card

total =

150 dollars

-199 price line

Nintendo Revolution = 49 dollars . . . . .

I realize I guessed those prices but I think I was quite accurate

Linear video games mean you follow a certain path of plotpoints in the game.  Main character must go through A-B-C-D before getting to the end where as open ended gameplay gives you the option of getting A-B-C-D in no particular order to get to the end.

Linear Game Examples

FFX
Xenosaga
Most typical old school RPG's

Non Linear / open ended games

Kingdom Hearts
Animal Crossing
The Sims
GTA

Honestly... as much as i'd LOVE this to happen, I don't think a new Mario game will be ready for launch. Last time Miyamoto talked about it he still didn't have a solid direction for the game, they're probably still just "experimenting".
\

Last Iwata interview he said he is pushing Miyamoto to have it ready at launch along with Smash Bros. . . . Anything is possible but really I hope its delayed a month or two.  If we get Metroid Prime 3 and SSBRevolution I dont want another AAA title being tossed in there.  I dont want all my Nintendo games tossed all at once for fear that people will ignore one of them.  Indeed they all belong to diffrent genres: FPA, fighting, and platforming, but I dunno, I kind of want some of my fav Nintendo franchises to be spaced out.

Couldn't it even be possible with sprites? Just curious, I too do not wish for Pikmin Ds but I am curious if the Ds could handle alot of sprites on the screen.

LOL yeah I feel like I am 5 years old again.  Someone in my town wanted a new catchphrase and I gave them "Touch me!"  Now everyone in town has slowly adopted it.  My lil 16 year old bro lives with me and was surprised to find everyone in town askin him to touch them lol.  He thought he was special or somethin and was braggin to me the next day.  Sadly I eventually told him that I had taught them the phrase. Lol that's AC for ya.
