Well I'm catching up on the shows, i enjoyed the Blaster Master discussion. The guys are right about Blaster Master, there is still nothing really like it, even Metroid. The game did some ground breaking stuff such as remember an enemy's energy when off screen, along with really taking advantage of organic environments to find new areas once you get a new item, it was really one of the first exploration/action games where it had a linear path in regards to getting to the next area, but still being open in many ways.

I wonder how much of the Wii's success was because of the price drop and how much was because of NSMB. Without those two factors I'm sure it wouldn't have broken records. This will be enough to get Nintendo through the 1st quarter of the year too, but after that the Wii is going to need something else going for it.

Easy Metroid, Zelda, and SMG

I meant during the month of December. Metroid, Zelda, and SMG are all old games that couldn't have been a huge factor in the December charts. NSMB was new, and the price drop was new, so that's why I'm pretty sure those were the main factors for December's results.

Well I was talking about 2010 releases.

See, this is why I'm glad Bill never came back. No matter how good it is to get the person back (and don't get me wrong, I'm glad you're back, GP, this place isn't the same without you), once you go through the trouble of making a scene of quitting the way GP did, coming back a few months later kind of ruins things and cheapens it.

What can I say besides things change in life, you learn things about yourself and sometimes you second guess your decisions. Sometimes you need to admit your priorities have shifted, eat crow, and do what you feel is best.  I've had lots of time to focus and think about my life, what I've done wrong, what I could improve, and such since I "left" (though as said and did I popped in every once in awhile).

NPD is pretty amazing for Wii, wow. Guess those who said it was on decline were wrong (again). Looks like NSMB:Wii was a big game after all (as it should be).

I want to make a formal announcement. This girl is BACK to NWR. One of my new years resolutions was that I need to balance things out, and this place has been so amazing with people I consider friends. I still have my other goals but you know, why can't this be apart of it? So I'm eating crow (which are good BTW) and returning. The Gothic Princess is back, while she may not buy many games she is going to still be heard whether people want to read it or not.

Thanks for all the kind messages, and I do want to thank Maxi for the mafia game, it made me realize how much I missed this place.
