The fact that this game has Vampires makes it far better then L4D
Are you kidding? Vampires were done to death by the early 90s, and now they're just boring. And these things are a classical vampire type anyway, which is pretty much just zombies.
I forgot how much I loved Booster. He fits the tone so perfectly: a goofy villain that's hard to take seriously, but he still makes life troublesome. Plus, his tower was fantastic. Not only did it have so many fun toys to mess around with (8-bit Mario FTW!), but the design change to vertical rather than horizontal levels was a nice way of mixing things up. The isometric perspective worked against me when trying to land on that stupid seesaw, though. :-/ Again, mixing platforming with this view was a mistake.
A pity I just replayed this game last Fall, as I'd totally be along for this one. SMRPG is one of my favorite games from the SNES era. Pity Square-Enix owns Geno, as I'd love to see him reappear in a modern Mario RPG as more than just a minigame cameo.
They still have Godfather's Pizza??
I forget where I saw this, but there was someone that would put the tip on the table as soon as they sat down. As time went on, if the waiter was doing good the money would still be there, if they started slacking or messing up, money would start to disappear.
I always found that funny but psychologically fucked up.
Start with $5 on the table, ask for some water with a lemon on the rim, not in the glass and a straw also in the glass, paper still on the tip. Start timing the person on how long it takes them to return with your water in the specific way you ordered it. Deduct necessary amount of tip from table is everything isn't as you asked.
I would expect spit(or worse) somewhere in your food if you actually did that to a waiter.
Which goes back to evil business men coming up with the 15% thing as an excuse to pay less. Many restaurants pay their servers below minimum wage and count tips towards making it equal minimum wageWhich goes back to my argument that you get better service this way. Would you rather your food cost 15% more and you didn't have to tip? There would be no incentive for servers to perform their jobs better. With tipping you get a say in your server's pay and they're motivated to do a better job.
I don't understand tyhe american system for tipping people just because.
You get tipped because you EARN IT. I won't give you more money just because you grace me with your presence. If Nintendo could do that then they'd be the richest company on earth.
I follow your philosophy Plugabugz, there have been times where I gave no tip if the service was bad. I also don't understand the %15 thing, does it take more work to deliver your plate of crab legs and lobster compared to giving you a plate with a cheeseburger on it?
Exactly. When i was in NYC last week i left $20 tips for some places and $1 in others. The larger the tip the more i enjoyed the food and the person serving. It usually bears no relevance to 15%.
