I finally could find these scans, and it seems Zakkiel is the one who doesnt know how to read, let me transcribe the whole paragraph:

[...]
Well, theres no better way to quash that one than by going straight to Nintendo's UK PR manager RobSaunders, He says: "Nintendo has always promised and mantained that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be a Nintendo GmeCube title. Mr Miyamoto and Mr Aonuma are still fully committed to bringing Twilight PRincess to GameCube owners worldwide later this year"
So there you have it- it will be on GameCube. Which brings us onto the second bit of tittle-tattle, that Twilight Princess will also be coded to work with the revolution Freehand controller. As it's already been confirmed that the backwardly-compatible revolution will play all Game Cube games, it wouldnt be  too hard to add some extra code to every version of the fame, making it compatible with revolution's ground breaking controller"
[...]

So of course if you read the bolded sentence out of context, it looks like the magazine is confirming it, but thats not the case, they are just talking about the second rumor, seriously, english is not even my main language and I could get that.

Im not saying that everyone suppose it was april, I have an interview where Reggie says in Reggie's own words "It will be released in april" (yes that literally). He maybe let that slip when he was suppose to say just 2006.

"If it wasn't going to happen, they would have DENIED it. End of story."

haha not in a million years, you clearly dont know Nintendo that well because they never deny or confirm anything at all that other sources tell about anything related to their consoles or games, its the usual "Nintendo doesnt comment on rumors or speculation" or the more elaborate "denial" they put after that UK magazine published the article, which didnt say anything.

Its the angle of the shot more than anything, in the MP1 art shes absolutely naked, yet it doesnt feel as sexualized as that one for me.

But being honest is just a minor complain of mine. I do think though that it should at least match the game's art direction, something Echoes didnt. And if they really give her missions outside the suit oppose to my wishes, it would be even more important to follow the art style of the whole game.

Theres also the posibility that the game simply isnt ready yet for the high standards they want to achieve! and now with the more recent comments by Reggie, this seems to be the case.

Metroid Prime 2...  And there's really no mystery to Samus to being a woman anymore, so who cares if she's out of her suit at the end?  (And the first Prime's Samus art is horrible...HORRIBLE...MP2/Zero Mission Samus for the win!)

BOOOOOOO!

And do you people really think that this isnt a sexualized deciption of her? or that this isnt just plainly superior?

this one is better though.

And I like very much japanese animation and comics, but for it to fit with the Prime games they should be cellshaded or something, after all I liked fusion's artwork, but ZM is disgusting, DISGUSTING I tell you

omg I actually agree with Ian in many points

The only complain I have for Echoes was the hub levels. Even if the game was longer it didnt feel that way. Is analog to traveling. When you go to somewhere unknown, the trip seems really long, but once you are there and return to the point of origin, the trip seems shorter, even if it takes the same time to make both trips. With echoes you knew already there were these three areas to clean, while with Metroid Prime you had no clue what was coming, the phazon mines or phendrana drifts were completly unexpected.

And about Samus agility, shes actually pretty fast in both Primes, but first person doesnt let that to be seen easily. If Retro can make her to act more agile with the remote it would be great, but I honestly have no idea how could that be pulled off in first person. I think that the actual speed of the visor while aiming is perfect, if they make it faster it would be just disorienting and makes precision aiming a lot more difficult.

and oh yes Dont change it to a third person shooter! because it would suck tons. Third person shooters dont work in claustrophobic enviroments, and it wouldnt be Metroid without claustrophobic enviroments.

Also Dont even think about putting Samus out of her suit! except some ultra extremely rare ocasion or the final scenes. She loses all her mistery and game companies cant help to sexualize thier female characters, like the art of Metroid Zero Mission, and I dont care if Bill liked it, it was disgusting she shouldnt be sexualized at all, MP1 was on the right track, in some of the art galleries she's naked but feels like a real woman, not that big-breasts japanese fetish thats so hideous, not to mention the anime style of Samus in Echoes (basically it was a 3D version of the horrible art from Zero Mission), because it doesnt fit at all with Metroid's art direction and enviroments, Nintendo should really give up on Japan with this game, they will never like Metroid like we do, and trying to appeal to japanese only hurts the game in the process for their big fans in the west.

And also another vote for NOT MAKING THIS A PLAIN FIRST PERSON SHOOTER OR ANY OF THAT HALO-ESQUE NONSENSE so basically dont listen to nemo at all.

First, isnt that something really old that Reggie said a while ago?

Second, how the hell is that a confirmation? a confirmation would be "TP will have remote functionality" not that.

I have the hunch that not only TP wont have rev features, but that Nintendo wil be flamed to death for that, I cant get people who think this is a good idea at all.

The "evil celshaded" world is eating the "good realistic" world   yes Im unoriginal

Im such a masoquist for reading those post at gaf, theres a certain comedy in the site  though, like the guy who cant accept the DS is a massive success. Now Im going to really try to avoid spoilers, and since its obvious the coming months are going to be packed with the game's information I think Ill stay away from the thread...

Ill try anyway...

I think the boat of TP as a "killer app" has sailed already since last christmas, but the game just wasnt ready. From that moment on they are just losing and losing sales, TP wont be the killer app of anything, even if Nintendo is crazy enough to try to push it as "the killer app" for the rev. I think that if they wanted, they couldve released it last christmas, although it was incomplete, Im pretty sure it was "Wind Waker" incomplete, which mean it was already an awesome game anyway. But they stick to their promise.  The way Reggie answered the question about the rev features makes it look like they havent even consider it.

Me too. After all, TP could still push Rev sales without remote functions, and at the same time it can promote the Rev backwards compatibility feature.  As long as they delay it to add more content I can wait, Ill rather have extra dungeons, more towns or more items than remote functions any day, simply because we will get the Zelda revolution anyway, and they will probably never make a traditional Zelda again, so all the focus should be on that.

Talking about plagiarism, I have a question thats been bothering me this past months. I listened to a certain remix called the games we played, author aspergian (you should check it out, its pretty great, Id link it but vgmix seems down for some reason), at around mark 12:00 I start hearing a familiar tune, is the NES Lode Runer tune! but to my surprise this part is identified as the Giana Sisters theme, shocked I tried to find both tunes and apparently they are the same, someone copied someone, but Im not sure who, I have no idea what game was first.

I thought Nintendo already confirmed the Rev has progressive scan? and they've never said that GC owners didnt want it, if you are one of the late-comers (and shame on you for getting the console so late) you can easily ask Nintendo to change your unit for an old one with both ports.

In the Club Nintendo magazine I have, Reggie specifically says that april 2006 is the release date, of course its an old interview and Reggie isnt the most accurate person when it comes to information "Mario 128 will be shown at E3!" for instance.

Do you think that EAD will just put a huge plain for the horse to ride and some enemies? The enemies are specifically designed to be fought in this plain with a GC controller, even the land itself is layed out in such way that it takes the biggest advantage of the GC controller, the design of things like caves, rivers, forest, paths, you name it. Horsebak with the remote opens so much posiblities that they would be wasted if they just map the controls into TP horseback fights from E3, unless the redo the monsters you fought, the land you cross, and basically the whole thing. Nintendo doesnt make games like that ( and thats why Im so shocked about these rumors), they dont think "you know, a maniatical moon crashing in the land would be so cool, lets make a game about that!", "first person perspective is popular so lets make a Metroid game this way!" First and most important for them is and always will be the gameplay, everything else comes as bonus.

I think that's being awfully presumptuous about a game we know little to nothing about. All we've seen from the trailers is Link riding across various plains battling enemies while mounted (on a large boar, of all things). We have no idea the extent to which these scenes will be in the game, nor do we have any reason to believe the Rev would be used to enhance them. After all, everything I'm spouting is theory.

Its not presumptuous. remember OoT? the big Poes that went away in a straight line when you were in horseback? that was made that way because if the ghost start dancing around the horse it would be simply imposible to hit it with an arrow, analog stick doesnt offer that kind of presicion, but apparently the new remote does, that alone opens a whole lot of posibilities for enemies, and it would indeed be a waste if they just map the remote to hit a poe who goes into a straight line. This is a very simple example of the care that Nintendo puts in design, and if they promise to make the best zelda game ever, we have no option but to get absurdly hyped for it, and espect at least the same level of care in the design.

I notice all this thanks to the Wind Waker, I was among the people who hated the graphics, but I found myself having an incredible time with the game, how could I if Link looked like a badly drawn powerpuf girl? that forced me to put my eyes away from the graphical style and notice all these little details, this excellence in design and development, the clever puzzles and absolutly flawless control the game had, I even started to appreciate those huge eyes, (specially in certain cabaƱa who had a secret passage ). Thats why I cant believe they'll just put rev features into a game thats not made with those in mind! I just cant believe it.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:LoZ: TP delayed until Nov...

I think Nintendo is the best developer around, but even them in my opinion wont be able to make a flawless game that uses both the GC controller and the remote, for the game to trully use the remote it must be completly revamped, it would be so mediocre to map remote functionality to things that a button can do, like Ian has mention so many times. Why swing a remote to simulate a slash when you can do it with a button? It can only make a difference if also enemies' attacks are changed accordingly, which means revamping the whole combat mechanics, probably going as far as changing bosses mechanics completly. Is the same to any 3D sensing functionality anyone can think off.

And sadly that will detract from the core game too, the attention is split, is not really a GC game any more, but neither is Rev game. That rev functionality is the dumbest idea Ive heard in the history of dumb ideas, and royally screws up the GC owners who wanted the game, is worth of companies like EA, not Nintendo.
