You think so? Or are you just thinking for everyone else? Why is the combination of Mario & friends and a board game, Baseball, Tennis, or Soccer not a "dream" situation? Please do tell me, if you're Nintendo and going to do a baseball game without Major League teams and players and without using a Nintendo franchise because you personally don't want to "Milk" them. Who are you going to use for the game teams and characters?

Even back in the day it was easy to pick up cables for cheap. Used from GameStop/EB, new/used from eBay, or packed in with the games themself. If you wanted to play the game there were multiple ways to get the cables without paying $15 a pop.

Unfortunately, as much as I love RPGs, the opportunity was just never there for me...

The sad part of the whole thing is how much I wanted Square-Enix (OK... mostly Enix) to get back into Nintendo development... then the only Cube offering was something I never got a chance to see... at least I got FFTA, so it wasn't a total loss
Pick the game up, honestly, its quite fun even in single player. Perhaps even more fun, you don't have friends that always want to skip cut sceens and you can enjoy the art work and music at a much more leasurly pace. Granted you won't be able to pull off, say, Blizzaga +2 in single player. It's pretty hard to pull it off, for practical use, in multiplayer anyway. My friends and I can do it on a single monster, or for practice, but against bosses? Forget it, to much stuff smacking you around. If your lucky though, I believe you can pull off *aga +1 with the moogles help.

Yea, if anything it was designed to sell Gamecubes to GBA owners, rather then the other way around.

Geez ian, you're not ignorant at all, are you? You've not played a Micro, I can gather. Micro's screen is way sharper and produces a much better picture then the SP and far better then backlit SP. You'll want to trash your SP after playing on a Micro. And speaking of playing, the cross pad and buttons are no more closer together or smaller then the SP, in fact their even further apart thanks to the horizontal layout. And battery time is just the same if not better. And besides the link cable connectivity stuff was a 'complete' failure, so why should it bother you that it doesn't work with those or the e-reader. I'll trade the small size and great screen any day for GB playback.

yea, a paper clip is fine. Both face plate ejector holes do not need to be pushed at the same time. Just push them one at a time and the faceplate pops off.

You might want to check your Micro again. I own a US model Famicom Micro and the faceplate is very much removable. The box just doesn't include an ejector tool. (i used a paperclip)

I had my cover off last night to clean out a spec of dust that managed to sneak onto the screen.

Even if you could, as far as I know, you can't buy replacement Famicom face plates, so it doesn't seem like it would be worthwhile.
Uhm... just go to Nintendo.com spare parts store. They are listed right along with the other micro stuff. Famicom faceplate and battery cover.

Finally, wanted to mention that Nintendo has confirmed they are not making additional faceplates to buy. Sad, really, and I haven't seen others from third parties. I keep hoping someone will release a make-it-yourself kit, but I doubt that as well since Nintendo seems deadset on essentially phasing out the Micro by the end of this year.
Those lucky japanese sons of bitches are getting the Famicom player 2 controller faceplate through Club Mario.

Honestly, I don't buy it. GBAs are so prevailent its not that hard to find another friend or three with a gba that would like to play or will let you borrow. And, honestly, new and used GBAs are dirt cheap on eBay if you or your family needs them. (Besides, you know, GBAs play games too And you don't have to take my word that it has really good games, ask anyone else! ) You can find cheap used first/third party connector cables at EB/GameStop.

Last I heard we are getting FF:CC for the DS and Revolution so obviously someone besides my friends really liked it and had no problems finding the nessary gear. It's such a fun game and you still have GCN Four Swords ;P

If there was anything more then circumstantial evidence to prove the existance of god, or certain things like the Flood and Noah's Ark, I think you'd have more believers and less debate worldwide. Sorry, pointing to the bible and saying that's the proof, isn't going to convince many people that it truely is perfect and infallable.

I don't know about anyone else, but I honestly think Shawn would have had a better time getting his point across if he just had not brought the bible, scripture, and christianity into the mix. Now instead, he just looks like some wacko. People will have differing opinions no matter what, but aserting that your opinion is correct because its based on scripture won't win anyone over.

And in California earthquakes are gods manner of eliminating corrupted churches and non-belivers, right? And schizophrenia was the punishment delt to my brother for picking on me when I was younger?

Honestly, its easy to blame all of the worlds problems on lack of faith in the Bible. But, what about all the other countries of the world who's governments are not based in Christianity. You'd blame any of their problems on lack of faith in scripture? What about the ones that, in fact, are doing fine on their own, Japan, China, India, etc.

While I won't deny that religion gives people that want it a sense of community or together-ness or good feeling-ness... or a set of nice rules to live by i.e. Be nice to others, do not steal/kill/etc... I'll take it one step further. The bible/christianity/even religion in general is nothing more then general business. You have money and religion has something to sell to you. A bunch of made up stories to get you to fork over cash. The idea that any one religon is better or the "true one", or for that matter, infallible is just rediculus.

Honestly, why does sex/masterbation have to be this big secret? I know i'm opening a big can of worms here, but, honestly, whats the harm in learning? I'm not saying a sex/masterbation game shouldn't be rated AO, by all means rate it AO, (i.e. parent gets to decide if the game is OK). But if a kid wants to learn about the topic, whats the harm? And why can't he/she have something targeted twords them? A video game would be a great medium to for the child to experiment with sex/masterbation. I mean, in such a game you could teach them about the negative consequences of promiscuity (STDs, unwanted pregnacy) while letting them learn / experiment without having to "Do it for real". Teach them what contraception is, what its use is, how to use it, and why to use it.
