General Gaming / Two Developer questions

1.Free Radical is rumored to be making an exclysive game for Sony while bypassing Eidos. I thought they were part of Eidos? Are they a Free Agent type devloper then? Could Nintendo make them make an exclusive game for the Cube?

2.Level 5 made the very good Dark Cloud 2 for the PS2, and are working on Dragon warrior 8 and True Fantasy Live for the Xbox, so are they also  available to the highest bidder? Id love to see them make an RPG, possibly Mario RPG 2 since Square hasnt announced it yet.

So its a double scam? The people who bid on the "info" and the actual distributors you scam? Havent hte Wholesale distributors complained?

Yeah its a scam, im suprised Ebay allows it. Ebay strikes down stuff like porn, human beings, fraudulent bidders, people trying to get rich off tragedies like 9/11 and Colombia. Yet they arent against this.

nobody posted this, so ill post it, IGN reported that Capcom will make Ghosts and Goblins MMORPG for all 3 consoles. Its nice to see another game online after PSO ver 2

Well this is certainly interesting. I really hope though that there is some sort of backwards compability . Also while the technology difference is less, remember, Graphical power is still important,  the whole situation with ATI is interesting. Could they make the SAME chip for the GCN2 and Xbox Next?  That would make the systems almost identical.

Omen, while as much as wed like to change it Nintendo does have a kiddy image, people do belive it, The majority of games are not M rated. So Nintendo has built its own bed and must sleep on it, as badly as others like myslef woul like th change that

I agree with Matt, Nintendo President Iwata said it himself, They want to win the console war, well the current status quo while economically viable, wont win them the war, just keep them at 2nd-third place.

According to the Gamespot interview with Miyamoto, Konami has wanted to bring Metal Gear for a while no to the cube. And that theres a few projects not just 1 game. Interesting stuff!

FF10 is ok, id rather suggest Xenosaga  or Dark Cloud 2 wich is VERY similar to Zelda, also Guilty Gear XX, cause im a huge 2D fighting fan, i bought ti and its awesome.

Well, i look at it this way, Nintendo could do worse than spend money to get Sega a 2nd party. That is if these rumors are true... Sega has a ton of franchises that do sell, VF, Panzeer Dragoon, Sonic, Nights,Shinobi. Those alone would push consoles, Plus they got the Trigun game i sooo want to play

EA would buy Sega just to eliminate the competition. If Visual Concepts is out of the way, then no one could stop EA From dominating the Sports world. A monopoly of sorts. M$ is interested in everybody, amonth a go it was Vivendi, now Sega.  Nintendo should step up to the plate, and make an attempt for Sega. Gamecubes do sell more than Xboxes in Japan, so Sega would make more money in the homeland. Plus i want to be able to play Sonic in a future SSBM! I also want to play Fzero. If M$ does buy Sega, they could cancel Fzero

Interesting that 1.Nintendo was rumored to be interested in Sega, 2. Sega is up for sale and 3. Sega as a Third Party seems to have failed.
