Nintendo Gaming / Xenosage, any chance for the Cube?
« on: March 09, 2003, 05:58:28 PM »

Nintendo Gaming / Who wants some Ninjas?
« on: March 09, 2003, 02:45:12 PM »
After playing Tenchu 3 extensively and loving eveyr seccond  of it, im wonderign why nobody has made or wants to make a Ninja game on the GCN, Sony got Shinobi and the Very good Tenchu, and Xbox is getting Last Ninja and Ninja Gaiden. I had an idea, Capcom should make another Strider (another great ninja series) on the Cube. Heck it could be 2D for all i care, maybe use the Cel Shaded style of Vieutiful Joe

Nintendo Gaming / Wrong about Metroid?
« on: March 08, 2003, 03:53:52 PM »
He might be entitles to his opinion, but it stinks of biass. The constant comparison to Halo, is unfounded and unwarranted, This isnt a FPS and i wish guys like him would realize this

Nintendo Gaming / Level-5? could they come to Cube
« on: March 08, 2003, 02:19:53 PM »
I know  that, and thats why i said, some of the money i forgot the name of the fund. There isnt a reason why they couldnt work with Nintendo, they are working with Microsoft. I played Dark Cloud 2 it was prety good too similar to Zelda but still i aint complaining. Nintendo does need some more RPGS

Nintendo Gaming / Level-5? could they come to Cube

They could, but it would depend on Nintendo giving them some of that money they gave to Squaresoft

Actually that wasnt my point Will Too Human use the same gameplay as ED? As in Third Person action type?

I didnt know a whole lot about it either, but the post on IGN was informative. I cant wait to play it. I dont understand though will it also be a Third Person quasi Survivor Horror game? It runs on the Eternal Darkness Engine. I was hoping more for a quasi FPS ala Deus Ex

The Dreamcast wasnt a failiure, it was pretty frigging good, it got killed by Segas past faliures.

I still use my Virtual Boy and Neo Geo Pocket but i admit both disapointed me.

Nintendo Gaming / Silicon Knights.
« on: March 07, 2003, 07:29:58 AM »
Interesting stuff, im going to boot up my copy of ED again now, going back to the yellow god/magik. If  i remember correctly, the painting with the Magik triangle, wich tells you wich magik beats wich like Rock Paper Scissors, wasnt there a yellow magick symbol in the midle?

Plus the Japanese never get things fixed, they replace them. Added with the fact that the PlayStation 2 is one of the shoddiest built machines around..

You know i never belived that, but not only is it true, but when theres a new tv or electronic out, they throw out the WORKING older unit. A friend of mine serving in the marines in Japan told me this. His friends in the marines actually get working tvs and stuff by just checking the Trash!

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda: WW tops 300,000 pre-orders
« on: March 06, 2003, 02:25:52 PM »
Its probably going to be the best selling game on the Gamecube, i was talking with some people from EB, its gotten 500 pre orders in one store alone! yikes!

Nintendo Gaming / EA and Nintendo back together
« on: March 06, 2003, 01:54:03 PM »
Well it was somewhat expected, with Sega Sports gone, the amount of gamers wanting EA sports increased. I  hope they trully put the GBA-GCN link to use in some inovative ways as well.

Nintendo Gaming / Super Mario RPG 3, Any Chances??
« on: March 06, 2003, 12:42:05 PM »
I dont see why it couldnt happen. Your cracy if you think Square will make just 1 game for the Gamecube. Especially when Final Fantasy CC sells by the RPG starved Gamecube fans like myself. ID love to see a Nintendo Kingdom Hearts type game as well. Imagine Kid Icarus world!

Nintendo Gaming / japanese metroid prime numbers
« on: March 05, 2003, 07:43:40 PM »
Metroid has never sold well in Japan, added to the fact that they turned it into a FPS type, wich sell even worse in Japan means it wont sell really well.

TalkBack / Teens Still Controlling Game Market
« on: March 05, 2003, 05:05:40 PM »
Early teens are still more likely to own a GameCube than mid-teens or young adults; however, younger gamers in Zanthus' focus groups proclaimed they would never purchase a Nintendo GameCube because they considered it "geared for little kids." This group uniformly regarded the PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms as "more grown-up."

Exactly what Steve Kent said, Too Kiddy for the Old groups, not Old enough for the kiddies, Nintendo is between a rock and a hard place.

I also disagree with Rick, its something that Nintendo can work to change this generation, if Nintendo continues to wait for the next generation and the next they wont win this. Nintendo made a legitimate attempt in 02, Resident Evil, Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness. There is no reason why they cant just improve their adult geared games while continuing their family friendly games. Nintendo CAN have their cake and eat it too.

General Gaming / battlefield 1942
« on: March 05, 2003, 03:48:20 PM »
1.Unreal Championship isnt a direct port of UT 2k3 if im not mistaken and 2.BF 1942 was cancelled, i think it also had to do with EAs problems with Xbox live.

General Gaming / Two Developer questions
« on: March 05, 2003, 03:46:51 PM »
Exactly, im asking about the developer status, If they can work on both Xbox and PS2, why couldnt they work on the Gamecube?

Nintendo Gaming / Silicon Knights.
« on: March 05, 2003, 03:40:03 PM »
Wow Denis posting here I just wanted to say Eternal Darkness is a heck of a game, one of my top 5 favorite games of all time and the first game ever which trully scared me at a point! Id love to see what Silicon Knights is cooking up next and i cant wait to find out Keep up the good work!

TalkBack / Sega Buyout Talks Re-emerge
« on: March 05, 2003, 03:25:43 PM »
Again, i never said Fzero would be made for the Xbox if the sale happens (Sega has denied it i think) i just said they might cancel it if it hasnt been finished. Rare never finished games like DK Racing and Perfect Dark Zero for the GCN. I might be wrong though..

TalkBack / ATI and Nintendo Further Their Partnership

On the subject of future game consoles, Huang hinted that Nvidia might not be involved with Microsoft's successor to the Xbox, due to the considerable engineering difficulties that the company would encounter

Added to the fact that ATI is rumored to be talking with M$ means ATI might make Chips for both Xbox 2 and GCN 2, while certainly interesting. (The posibility of equal consoles would mean Nintendo would have an advantage in the Games department) Its also troubling.

From what i understand, ATI Will also make the Xbox next processor, doesnt this worry anybody? They could give the Xbox next a better processor and the new Gamecube a lesser one!  NVidea has said they wont work with Xbox again
