Now, according to the guide, this only works when you've linked DS-to-DS, not when you've linked over Nintendo WiFi Connection.

Has anyone else had this happen?

General Chat / #PlanetWiFi now open

As stated in one of the topics on the WiFi board, I took the liberty of opening an IRC Chatroom called #PlanetWiFi on the same network as the same server as the regular #PlanetChat room (irc.opa-ages.com).  I hope for this chatroom to become a center for PlanetGameCube members to meet up, and in some cases (like Mario Kart) be able to communicate during (or inbetween) gameplay.

As stated in the other topic, any PGC Forum Moderators or #PlanetChat Ops will get ops in #PlanetWiFi.  In fact, since I kinda took this on myself, if any PGC mods want ownership of the room, I'll give it up - I just want a quick place where we can all chat without getting into the regular flow of (non) conversation in the #PlanetChat room.

So drop on by!

I've managed to gather three Pitfall Seeds and have no real use for them, as I don't really want to cause mischief in other towns.

However, I'm all for making a buck or two (well, a bell or two)...  So I'm going to auction them off!  I'll set the ending time at Sunday Noon (Central).  Whomever bids the highest will get first pick purchasing either either one, two or three at their bid price.  If there's any left, the second highest bid will get to purchase either one or two at their bid price.  If there's a third left, the third higest bidder can purchase it at his/her price.

Whatever you do with the Pitfall Seeds is up to you.  I suggest you gather about 100 of them and go bury them in Pale's town.  But again, it's up to you.

Let the bidding begin!

Just a quick note about AC:WW - I found this out tonight (the hard way) and wanted to warn anyone/everyone about it before you have it happen to you.  I had my gate open for anyone to come over and while I was playing around town... My internet connection went down (for unknown reasons?)...  Next thing I know, I have an error message on my DS saying that my game has to restart and I've lost all my changes since my last save...

Isn't that crappy?

After reading an Odama preview over at GameSpot.com (http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/puzzle/odama/news.html?sid=6139464&mode=previews), I noticed that there was absolutly no mention of the Bongos... so has it actually been confirmed that Bongo support for this title has been removed?

Would it at all be possible to program something into the BB where it saves our friend codes (and games) and let's us send some kind of automated challange to others (like a PM without having to re-type everything)?

It'd be kinda neat.  A little icon next to a user name - you click it, select the game and it sends the challange.
