Nintendo Gaming / RE: The One Question ...

Or you could just look at which number at bottom-side of wiimote is lit up, come to a consensus (I'm 1, you're 2), and that's that, problem solved.

Are there any photos or videos around of someone actually playing it yet?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Single Response Wii Launch Opinion Thread
« on: September 14, 2006, 07:25:06 PM »
Nintendo gets an 9.8/10.
-0.1 for not having an Onyx Wii for launch, and another -0.1 for delaying MP3 into 2007.

That GUI looks freaktastic.
It has such a quirkyness that it is just inescapable to not look at it, in fact I'm addicted to the Wii GUI.
Really I was watching this vid and I all of a sudden I lost my focus and coudn't detract from those oh so enjoyable bleeps and blops and fluidity between and within channels.

The date, oh the date, oh well, what can I do?! 2 Months ain't too bad, it just gives me more time to accumulate more cash to spend.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Mii
« on: September 14, 2006, 06:54:24 PM »
I will be a Mii of me lol...I would really like for the Wii to already include MiiMiyamoto, MiiIwata, MiiReggie, etc or at least get them through WiiConnect24, obviously we won't get their friend-codes but it would be cool to have them in our Mii-space.

It's only free for Japan until June. I don't think we are getting it for free, maybe because of WiiSports? Consider this, the Wii already has several channels that have an online component (i.e. message board, weather, news, etc...), so why even bother complaining about paying $5US for Opera when we don't need it. Then again, I could be wrong, your choice.

I'm fine with prices, pack-ins, and whatever there may be that I will spend on, except...all I wanted was an Onyx Wii and MP3 for launch, and so those are my only dissapointments.

I started reading that "Plot Analysis/FAQ" that vudu mentioned, man is it huge, but I will eventually read it all.

I don't know why people are complaining about the controllers prices, they have new tech packaged in such little volume, I think it's reasonable but I still want to see what the american prices will be.

Now ask yourselves this question, how much is Sony charging for one of their sparkling innovations (the controller)?

From what I've seen, everything looks fine to me, the UI looks great, the little channels look like something very accesible and non-gamer/gamer friendly, everything is looking good and just waiting for Reggie's speach.

Sounds fishy to me also, we just have to wait and see when Reggie reveals our side of the truth.

For now, what I got is that IGN-Wii will update later on at night, www.codenamerevolution.com apparently will do a live update. I guess now it's just a matter of wait and see.

Nope, you are wrong. What they meant is that the event finishes around 1am-EST and that's when we will start getting news.

5143
Rumour is that it will be $229, 2 controllers (2 chucks and 2 wiimotes), WiiSports included. I would hope for at least one VC game included, of your choice of course.

I replied to Pro's PM, lol, today is not much of a thinking day for me so I think he's gonna read my response and think "noob".

Oh btw Pro, I listened to your ripped killer7 tracks and aren't you missing some tracks? I could have sworn that I heard some classical pieces.

Hostile Creation > maybe we should go on to the chat room and start discussing it until our brains melt.

LOL, I just finished reading most of the posts from this thread.

There was a mention of using the map, it's funny how I never ever used it lol.

I'm currently downloading the ripped soundtrack from Pro's site, btw is there a track for Garcian's whistling song while he *I'm not gonna spoil* in the last chapter?

I'll be reading your PM.

I read that whole interview, and I can't believe how much I have to learn to play Madden for my first time, it's wacked I know, but I'm very excited to get this game anyway.

Didn't you watch the "100 years later" ending? That should give some clues to understand part of the game...hmmm, maybe that will confuse you even more LOL.

I said concave, but that's just my point of view or "feeling" of it, it doesn't necessarily mean I fully understand it, however there is at least one common theme present in the game and you would know it if you understand that last ending I mentioned above.

Maybe Professional666 can be of much better help.

I liked how the game's story has a concave shape, it started spread out from 2 far ends and comes together to one focused point.

My favourite game-story has always been from the Metal Gear series, however, Killer7 has topped my chart for best game-story.
