I'm in the last dungeon of the game in the almighty land with Corvus gone evil, so how do I get the ability to fly or something? I've seen areas of the game I can't reach unless I can fly.

I think I found where I'm supposed to go next. At least, I was able to get off my boat there.

Actually if I think I know where you are, you can go to two places. North, and to the West. The direction I went was harder, but still doable if you're leveled enough.

I have played this game for about 60 hours now, and I have yet to finish the story because I do other stuff like quests and alchemy. I do have some major problems with this game.

How come I can't take the alchemy pot with me on my journey? I have to zoom all the way to Stornway, get inside the inn, talk to the pot, and now I can start doing alchemy. Either only allow me to use it in any Inn, or just let me use it on the go.

How come I can't sort the recipes in order of readiness. It's so tedious as it it right now to go through all the recipes. I would have it so that at the top of the list are the recipes that are ready to be done, then the next recipes are the ones that are almost ready but you have to take off equipment to make them ready, and the last recipes are the ones that you obviously need to collect more materials for.

I have to memorize the location where I can mine for materials? Remember how the Legend of Zelda games for DS introduced the ability to write notes on the maps, and wasn't it great even though there isn't much to remember in a LoZ game. Sure would be quite helpful in a game like DQ9.

Also having an auto-sort option for the equipment menus would be great.

Also I don't mind the grinding, but it would be less tedious if for every battle I didn't have to go through a screen transition every time.

Edit:
I for got to say that the level of customization for this game is good, but I think that in the end it just becomes a game of "equip the best stats" rather than "hey I like all my characters to run around in boxer shorts" kind of game.

Iwata Asks Interview really cool.

I'm even more psyched for this game after reading that interview.

It doesn't even allow to play songs from an mp3 player that's plugged to the 360.

The news report was full of lol, but it seems I don't like auto tune at all on anything.

haha I haven't touched Kodu in a long time, but now that you ask I do wonder if the Kodu community is doing well or did it just crumble.

My grandfather had Alzheimer, and it got really bad close to the end. It's possible he had it way before it had been diagnosed, or spotted by us because the randomness of speech, and loss of memory just started to be noticed when it was happening quite often. He was a cool grandfather. My mom, uncles, and aunts cried at the funeral. I, my brother (he was the closest to him in all of my family I think), and my cousins did not cry. I think we we're just content that he didn't have to suffer anymore.

The IT Crowd - 5x2 out of 100/10

Moss, and Denholm are my favorite characters from The IT Crowd.

God, I hated that show. My wife and I watched the entire first disk of season 1 and found the comedy to be way too broad, as is the case with many British comedies.

Because The Big Bang Theory is so much better.

a fifth and sixth season [for The IT Crowd] have been confirmed.

Where did you read about this?

Yeah. It's more like I stole it from someone at Deviant Art... I've been celebrating the upcoming release of the next Metroid game by having a different avatar every week until release day.

Trade you that for Excite Bots, Cave Story, Contra 4, Drill Dozer, Starfy, timely releases, no 50Hz slowdown and 40% cheaper DS games?

Cave Story? It's just a WiiWare release. That's just preposterous that Europeans can't get it.

There's no region lock-up for GBA or DS, so can't you import Drill Dozer and Contra 4?

Any kind of videogame should be cheaper in Europe. Even when I was living there I never understood why they should be more expensive. Specially with the Euro having more value than USD.

Knowing me, I will probably procrastinate my death. I'm as ready to go as I will ever be. Believing on the afterlife doesn't matter to me because alive is where I am now.

Sengoku Basara 3, heck even the anime just from watching one episode, is basically a Dynasty Warriors game. No wonder it sells on PS3.

Those are some cool game mechanics for an RPG.

Darn. I was hoping that they had increased the limit to 150px by 150px, but it's alright. I figured a way around it.

I can't go further than 100px by 100px, and up to 30KB for an avatar, right?

Great.. upon further play of Dragon Quest... I'm noticing my D-pad's left directional sensor isn't working as well anymore.  This is kinda making it a bit annoying to move my character around and such.  Should I make the splurge and just get a DSi XL now? I have really been wanting one... but the 3DS is so close, though... hmmm...

Just use your stylus. Saves you some money to buy the 3DS.

TalkBack / Re: NBA Jam Also Coming to 360, PS3 in Reduced Form
« on: August 03, 2010, 06:38:49 PM »
I think EA is feeling the heat because their competitor has Michael Jordan. EA gives NBA Jam to PS3/360 users for free, and it includes an online feature that I'm sure many Wii users (including me) would gladly accept. They charge the Wii users full price, which I assume is just to recover from any financial loss because of NBA "Elite" 11 sales failure.

It's all my assumption of course, but when a competitor has such an iconic figure at their disposal I think that it's bound to make any company to try and do whatever it takes to minimize the forthcoming damage.

Just a hunch, but did you set it as the slave drive?
I don't know what that means. But, if it means anything, I replaced a different hard drive ( not C) because there were no open plugs.

See where it says jumper block on that image? On the back of your hard drive there should be a schematic as to how to position the jumper plugs so as to make your hard drive identified either as Master or Slave. The distinction exists so that there is no confusion on boot up because both hard drives are connected to the same IDE cable.
