Litter. You could use coins to buy your mii a soft drink then leave the can lying around on various stages for people to kick around.

Smash Brothers at the beginning of the year and Mario Kart for the holidays. Sounds good if they could pop out an Animal Crossing by summertime and some sort of Pilotwings.

1 week after its released we will have no knowledge of this delay.

Sadly, delays are among the most vivid memories of a Nintendo fan:

It's like reliving Nintendo 64

Quote

Metroid Prime 3 and Galaxy were both delayed

Quote

If Super Paper Mario is anything to go by, we won't be seeing it until September

Quote

N64 games weren't million sellers because of delays. It was because the userbase was so f*cking starved for games that if anything decent came out they grabbed it because nothing else would show up for months

Quote

TP's delay or the Wii's name were topics that split the forum into seperate sides of debates.

A fate worse than death.

What are you talking about? I'm ecstatic! It's...it's so... I have this warm and fuzzy feeling inside of me... so familiar... a delay. *smiles widely*

I'm a Nintendo fan. This is how they tell me they love me!

If your parents told you you weren't having dinner until next week would you feel loved? Then next week at dinner time they told you it wouldn't be ready for another year, THEN would you feel loved? Then when it FINALLY came time to eat dinner, they said dinner won't be served for another month...??? I would say your parents just like to torture you

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii + DVD Confirmed (again)?
« on: January 10, 2008, 09:43:38 PM »
Nintendo doesn't want to confuse nongamers with more than 4 buttons of the same color so why would they confuse them with two sets of hardware

"There are some choices that we made in the development in order to achieve that price point. There's no DVD playback capability. And our thinking is most consumers have about 5 different [DVD players] in their house. Our games are not high-definition. Again our thinking is HD penetration is [only] about 15 percent of households."
-Gamespot, Sep 28, 2006

When asked if there was a DVD playback-enabled Wii coming to North America next year, Reggie said that "the answer is no."
-IGN, November 29, 2006

"Nintendo has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that there are plans to launch a new version of the Wii featuring DVD playback functionality in Japan.

The Wii's original spec sheet said the console would come with a DVD player as standard, but Nintendo later elected not to include the feature - observing standalone players are now widely available at low cost."

Brothers = fancy word for family, as in Nintendo family. Everyone knows Zelda stars Link and if they don't, they're a stupid nongamer.
